I am an avid/. reader... I have had my share of trolls in the past, but I think people are taking this rating thing too seriously. Who cares what some guy sitting at his computer thinks of you because of your rating. I have personally seen the most insightful comments get a normal "average" score. All I am saying is that you guys take this too seriously. If you don't like what people are saying just scroll past their comments. It's not like/. is posting your telephone #. This is an (I hate to use this terminology) online community. There are going to be people who "First Post" or "Flame *BSD or Linux ***distro*here***". I shouldn't upset you people. I for one enjoy reading the trolls and flamebaits sometimes. You have to treat the comments like reality. Most of us have "jobs" (except for you rob and hemos, you guys have fun) and we deal with crap all the time. All I am saying is, I guess, it doesn't need to be that complicated. Bill
(see subject) I know PPC 6*** has always used RISC, but I heard somewhere that this is supposed to be a 64-bit processor w/ a 128-bit FPU and multiple core technologies...? anyone? anyone?
I am a service technician for a retail store... we sell the E-machines PC... I tell every customer when they leave that I will see them again b/c their modem will go out... or it will be the video card... I have seen only a few e-machines go out my door with out any problems... I personally like them because it keeps my job very secure...
as I wade through these posts I notice certain things... People Suck... I want to kill everyone... Murder is the only way to end Microsoft. A nuclear aresenal will be unleashed in 4 days... welcome to the age of terror people... welcome......
I just don't like all this Linux news from the business world... why doesn't/. ever talk about the new technical aspects of Linux or *BSD? I hate all this market watch business crap
With Redhat IPO'ing its no surprise that they are trying to expand as much as possible... I don't mind it too much but I am worried that Redhat is going to become the Microsoft of Linux (although they are much better than that crappy Suse)
Its about time Alpha realized that to be #1 you have to play the "mhz game". They are by far the fastest processor on the market especially w/ the 21264 chipset. Combined w/ FX32 the alpha is the fastest desktop/server computer on the planet.
Whoever did that test obviously didn't take full advantage of Linux's open source aspect and doesn't know C. Who in thier right mind would believe that gibberish crap.

Kill yourself
If we did a prequel to TRON they would put in a character named Jar Jar Bits or something, so they can make it more appealing to the kiddies.
I bet you read somewhere on your 31337 H4x0R sites that Linux was "w(h)ack"... just shut up...
