when steve jobs or any of the other apple people that deal with PR are asked "two button mice?" they usually answer "that's a great opportunity for a third party."
apple likes consumers now, so they gotta keep it simple.
i was thinking when the rio and the memory stick came out, that it would just make sense to use them in combonation. i even had some computer eng. friends pull apart a rio and see if it was possible as a retro-fit. no luck, tho.
if this is the install from openLinux 2.2 then that what i used to install on my moocheen. it workied just fine on my box but blew my friends 6 gig scsi ( our entire site was on that drive!)
i liked it, but then again i'm a mac guy through and through, i like little pictures and clickin' on stuff. i needed a unix for school
i personally am glad that the general public and media are somewhat fuzzy on what we (computer nerds in general) do. i like that fact that the minority in the world can look at a linux kernal and understand it (hell, i can't even explain everything, not saying that i'm some genius, i too am young and stupid, but learning).
enlightened minority.....hmmm, sounds like a cult thing?
later all.
Well, the Mac version has a way to go still.

i can't ever get in to load on my machine. M3 worked at least, crashed after about two sites, but it worked.
i agree with matt, ie4.5 is from microsoft so i won't use it and comm4.5 is huge and slow, and iCab is far from ready.

that's a nice looking font they got there. oh yeah, that processor thingy sounds neat too.
5 out of the six of us in my house have had it done or are getting done next summer (stupid school, always in the way).
it's worth it dude.

thank you. you make sense. i use win for the stuff it's good for, mac for art and general goofing around and linux for learning about OSes.
nowadays, you need to know how to use all OSes.
i'll call you deadeye from now on, because all those apply to me and my geeky friends.
good call.
