...and imagine if this had happened under a different president. The heads would be exploding. You would be able to hear the calls for impeachment from deep space.
Under the current guy though? It's either not true, a gross exaggeration, something he knew nothing about until just now, 'they had it coming anyways', or racism.
OEM software -- OEM stands for Original Equipment Manufacturer
When computer manufacturers (OEMs) sell computers they often pre-install or bundle software with the computer. The purchaser often gets with the purchase the original software CD-rom discs or floppy discs in a jewel case or plain box. Such software almost always is licensed for use only on the machine on which it is installed and purchased by the user.
In such cases, you generally cannot sell the software to someone else unless you are also selling them the machine it came on. Anyone selling OEM software without the machine is potentially infringing upon the software company's copyright. Be wary of offers to buy software in jewel cases only with no other original packaging or manuals.
David Brin, David Brin, David Brin... It's a MOVIE! Entertainment type thing. Sheesh, you'd think by listening to him that all of us use movies as a blueprint for our lives.
Bloody hell, enough with the wanker crap, it makes you look like a tosser.

I for one haven't used my floppy drive for over 6 months and I use my computer for at least 6 or more hours per day.
