He was convicted prior to megaupload:
- in 1994, among other things, for computer fraud and data espionage
- in 2003 for embezzlement
- and in ~2004 for failing to disclose his shareholding to the SFC
I use it extensively to port games to the web. It works quite well! It has some limitations, which are given by the browser, but one can work around them quite easy.
Unfortunately, I cannot show off my own work, but others have been using it for some time as well http://www.quakejs.com/ http://crypt-webgl.unigine.com...

I find the idea very interesting if you plan your HTPC to be a virtual machine host in first place. Using vt-d to pass-trough devices like VGA and dvb tuners to your vms. Which would also allow you to occasionally fire up a windows machine for a gaming session and take full advantage of the gpu or just to tinker with new applications without having to taint your whole media center.
It may not be the most practical solution, but I also like to do stuff just because I can:-)
How is running a server conflicting against the idea of a HTPC? Just launch qemu/kvm/vbox somewhere in your init and you won't notice that you are running "a server".
+1 Informative
I was quite sure from personal experience that disc type media would sooner or later die, but didn't know that blu-ray was performing so bad!
and how does criminal-on-criminal change anything? It doesn't make the numbers any better. Homicide is still homicide, no matter if it's done against a "criminal" or not.
I wish i had mod points left :-)
and how little "nearly collided" means.
At least in the case of SAS flight SAS SK681 from Copenhagen, it missed a Russian IL-20 by 90 meters. http://theaviationist.com/2014...

Since when? What did I miss?
Which is the right one?
Both are, but one only measures income inequality before taxes, and the former after taxes.
Doesn't that require a conviction?

next on my wish list would be a citation from a more reputable source ;-)

As a non-native english speaker, it took me a minute to spot the implied "sarcasm"-tag. But i was very relieved when i found it! :-)

On the other hand, they do remove content based on complaints
Which of torrentz.eu cannot do even if they wanted to, as they don't host any content.
