If you're referring to Hogan. Yes, he's a public figure, but there are still instances when he has an expectation of privacy. Doing it is generally one of those situations. My media law professor would agree, Gawker messed up big time.
I think so. I think had news orgs drilled into the claims being made by the Bush Administration I think politicians would have had a harder time supporting the war.
I'm sure the $135 million he's getting from Univision will help ease his fall.
I've run a few publications and one thing you should have, although I never did because I wasn't a gutter journalist, is insurance to cover you if you get sued.
That's true. The media was awful in 2003 when they failed to do their job before we invaded Iraq, it's only gotten worse. It's just wretched right now.
I lived in Seattle, had no problem dating women and even found one silly enough to marry me. Don't worry about it, if you're not a tool, you'll be fine.
I like the idea, it's a great way to educate people. It's a stretch to call this conditioning, as was the case with Pavlov's dogs. People are never going to salivate at the thought of having to change their passwords using a strong password.
As a user and a someone who manages thousands of user accounts, I'd be all for a system like this.
If you haven't read the TechCrunch story, you don't know what you're talking about and should shutup. The woman was clearly harassed. If it were me I'd have gotten punchy and fucked up someone at the company before leaving. She's way too kind.
How many banks have failed in the US in the last 30 years? Some of them very big banks. Yes, it's true that the government does cover some of those losses, but not all of them. We've had the Savings and Loan collapse, the hedge fund collapse, the 2008 meltdown and there will be more to come. I personally lost thousands of dollars in the 2008 collapse and have really never recovered from it and no one bailed me out.
So do I trust bitcoin? As much as I trust any currency, which is not much. It's all a risk, pick your poison.

I don't see where Pavlov comes into this, but I should probably read the story.
