I saw one at a govt. trade show a couple years back. They dropped it from 4 feet in the air, it was fine. They had a 200 pound man stand on it, it was fine. Then the man started jumping about 1 foot in the air, I the LCD got a hair line crack but it really didnt effect it that much.
What I didnt see was them testing it at weird angles this was all with the laptop close and flat to the ground. Never the less I hope to afford one of these once I get out of school.
Here in Virginia the sales tax is 4.5%, the retailers get a part of that money. I am not sure what the break down is but its probably something 1% for the retailer 3.5% for the state. Basically it is payment for getting the tax.
I have been a summer intern for since my junior year of highschool. I currently just completed my freshman year of college.
I think the value of knowing that you are productive as an intern is very rewarding. I recently quit my summer internship at one company because my boss was too busy to help me learn and assign me meaningful tasks. He was a great guy but he was working 50+ hours a week.
In my new job I am very productive and working very hard, 50+ hours a week. This is for a small business enjoy your job ? This is a yes or no question, there is no inbetween.
Isn't our society driven by capitalism ?! Who would want to give up a good thing. Not I.
Esther Dyson to me is like a little kid screaming for attention. I think NSI wants to get this over with asap so it can get on with its "life." Look at their stock price. They consistantly make profits whereas many other companys dont and have twice or more the price.
NSI is down the road to having competition, they already have one registar sharing domain name registration with more to follow.
What is stopping companies from making portable mp3 players that read a cd? I can understand that it would cost a lot of $$$ but then again what new technology doesn't.

Have they corrected the problem of cds heating up in the trayless systems ? I know when ever I take a cd out of my car stereo its pretty hot.

Its a shame this came out after school park was released. They could have had the line going through south park :)
When they release this movie on video or dvd they should put this review in after the credits.

Symantec declares this as a Trojan. It doesnt harm anything. This is just abuse of power by Symantec and Intel.
