  3. "Forcible rape" Re:designed by violence on Study: Male Facial Development Evolved To Take Punches · · Score: 1

I heard another theory on the way that violence has influenced our evolution. It was suggested that opposable thumbs were favored because they make some apes like ourselves capable of forcible rape, unlike most animals. The success of forcible rape ...

Is "forcible rape" another category of rape like "legitimate rape"?

When your little boutique startup catches fire enough to go IPO and get listed on the NYSE, then you may have to make a few ethical and moral compromises to keep that Mercedes.

Except that after the IPO, you already have all their money, so why compromise?

  5. Maybe not a good idea on Registry Hack Enables Continued Updates For Windows XP · · Score: 1

What if XP and POS share a DLL, but in POS they remove some functionality from the DLL. Then when there's a security update for the DLL, your XP system will end up downloading the updated DLL with missing functionality, and your XP system might become a doorstop.

On Youtube, I have found many clips of Janet Jackson having her top ripped off during that Super Bowl halftime show. Her breast is not censored in these clips. Some of these clips even show ads. Why haven't they been removed from Youtube, and, in some cases, Google is even paying the uploader ad revenue? I'm curious about this because there's a video I'd like to upload that contains a tiny bit of nudity, but then I don't want to risk my account. Confusing, since you can see videos showing nudity and Google isn't removing them, but then you hear stories like yours.

  10. Does Windows save the contents of Notepad? on Goodbye, Ctrl-S · · Score: 1

Does the latest version of Windows save the contents of an unsaved running Notepad, so if the system were to crash, Notepad would open up with the "unsaved" contents on your next login? I know Mac OS X does that with TextEdit (similar to Notepad), and Windows XP never did it. Not sure about Windows 7 or 8.
