All the posts from my friends + all the post from places I've liked - anything I've turned off (like game requests)
Is that so hard?
Easy, create a list with all your friends and all the things you liked. Then read that list instead of your news feed - you will see ALL the posts on that list.
It may not have been wise for me to spend years training vi into my muscle memory, but it's done now, and I'm not especially interested in giving up that advantage.
Always good to know vi, since that's the one editor guaranteed to be on all Unixes. At a previous company, all the other devs only knew emacs, but the customer's flavor of UNIX didn't come with emacs. They had to request that emacs be installed on the servers, and it took the customer months before they finally did it.
I remember back when I had the iPhone 3G, it ran fine with iOS 3. But when I upgraded to iOS 4, it because very slow and unresponsive, it was almost unusable at times. Now that I have an iPhone 4S, I've stayed on iOS 6 for a while and don't feel like risking an upgrade to iOS 7.
I browsed a few audiophile forums in the past, and it was funny because they NEVER agreed on anything... EXCEPT for one thing... they all agreed that Bose was the worst speaker company ever. A company that sold products based purely on marketing.
I heard Tiger Woods had LASIK done around 15 years ago, and since then he's had to have 3 follow up procedures since his vision keeps gradually getting worse. What happens when there isn't any tissue left since you've had the procedure done so many times? Do you just have to wear glasses, or are the consequences much worse than that?
Hole in someone's head, maybe - after all, a simple spreadsheet to track something this basic or a reminder in a calendar with alerts with someone assigned to keep an eye on things would take care of things like this. They're lucky it wasn't held hostage...
I'm sure someone that spreadsheet with a calendar reminder, but then they probably got laid off and didn't bother give the info to anyone else.
Administrators? They still have those? Seems like a lot of companies just have their developers handle all sysadmin, network admin, and database admin tasks.
The MBA and MBP are both fine machines. My wife get's a computer that works most of the time. I get a computer with a bash shell on which I can do my thing. Neither have shown any tendency to falls apart, unlike every Asus, Lenovo, Toshiba and HP we've had.
I guess you haven't heard about all the 2011 MacBook Pros with failing GPUs. I have one and I swear I will never buy another Mac laptop again.
Try using those email addresses to register on various web sites and watch them say "invalid email address".
Then you don't have to worry about anything...

I heard the whole cast of Friends each made $1 million per episode, and that was over 10 years ago.
MSFT stock is at its highest since 2000.
They won't know the make/model/speed of the fan.
The human species cannot continue to exist without women. Men, on the other hand, could be replaced with a sperm bank.
You sure you can't replace women with an egg bank? They have those, you know.

Isn't anti-Semitism a subset of racism? Why not just say "We see racist messages" or "We see anti-Semitic messages"?

So less than $1 per customer.

Just post your negative reviews from Starbucks (after creating an account on the review site as well as a new email account from Starbucks as well).

"Apple has never worked with any government agency from any country to create a backdoor in any of our products or services."
What about government contractors?
"We have also never allowed access to our servers,"
So does Apple lease servers?
I mean, really: Emacs looks great in character mode and 80 columns. Why all this other faffing about?
Most people don't find ASCII pone all that exciting.
You are in the minority of hiring managers. If job hoppers couldn't get jobs, they wouldn't job hop.
How does this compare to Amazon's Kindle MatchBook?
Remind me to hire Intuit's law firm instead of Newegg's if I am ever in this situation.
VZ stock hardly changed today.

Is the article suggesting we short FB and TWTR stock?
