Consider CaptainDork's 3rd corollary: "For every motherfucker out there with a goddam computer, there's another motherfucker out there with a goddam computer."
We're all getting quantum computers and, as it is today, "All your base are belong to us."
You and I learned a long time ago that there are no nude photos of Anna Kournikova, and that we didn't send a package via UPS that will never arrive unless we click on the link to fix the invoice.
Apparently, a shit load of people, including those in governments, never learned that.
I don't know if it's ignorance, stupidity or apathy, but it's a shame.
The Sweden rape shit was worked out and all parties agreed to let it go.
The UK has him on outstanding warrants for failure to appear.

Assange sunk to low levels way before the 2016 election cycle.
He's got an exaggerated sense of self appreciation and he's in over his head.
He has plans to claim immunity because he's a "publisher," and protected by way of freedom of the press.
Adversaries have lawyered up and point out that Assange has repeatedly claimed to be simply the spokesperson for WikiLeaks, and is in no way the custodian of any stolen intelligence.
Thanks for clearing that up. I just entered the rabbit hole and, so far, I'm learning a lot about the viral Equador vs Ecuador controversy, and zip shit about anything else.
If you aren't sophisticated enough to figure it out, busting my butt to load your gun is as stupid as getting your fucking news from a goddam social media site.
In short: I agree with you, particularly on a point that is dear to my research.
They best way to stop behaviour deemed undesirable is to remove the desire.
The war on drugs: Stop addiction.
Influx of undocumented humans: Make America a shot hole country.
Sex trafficking, toy sales, pornography, workers, etc.: Make people unhorny.
Gun control: Make ownership unnecessary.
The solid solution to many issues is on the demand side.
Make the demand go away, and the problem is solved.
The only way to win is not to play.
You don't understand quantum computing.
I do.
Consider CaptainDork's 3rd corollary: "For every motherfucker out there with a goddam computer, there's another motherfucker out there with a goddam computer."
We're all getting quantum computers and, as it is today, "All your base are belong to us."
I'm 72 years old and when God said, "Let there be light." I threw the fucking switch.
That was the precursor to Venmo.
Fucking Luddite.
... so just eject the goddam thing.
Tell that to an old Windows NT server.
I plugged up an EHD for backup; ejected it; and it bitched, topping out the error log over and over again.
It thought the yanked EHD was performing poorly.
It's a sign of operator error.
We're nerds.
Work around it.
... don't touch that, OK?
That's a capitalism of a different colour.
... back across the border.
BUILD THAT (fire)Wall!!!
Perhaps you are correct.
You and I learned a long time ago that there are no nude photos of Anna Kournikova, and that we didn't send a package via UPS that will never arrive unless we click on the link to fix the invoice.
Apparently, a shit load of people, including those in governments, never learned that.
I don't know if it's ignorance, stupidity or apathy, but it's a shame.
... is easy at the product level.
However, those same bots are money-makers.
Want a lot of eyeballs?
Stir the pot.
You haven't bothered to monitor this.
Assange deliberately avoided associating himself with the actual data.
His title was, simply, "Spokesman for WikiLeaks".
Otherwise he'd have been arrested immediately for possessing stolen property and none of this complicated shit would be in play.
IF there is pressure in the process. It pisses me off that I have to post this for you right from the goddam summary:
Sources close to Assange claim he was not aware of the talks, but believe America is piling "significant pressure" on Ecuador to give him up ...
I'm agreeing with you, but have more to add:
There were two women.
One said he raped her but she later revealed that she did, indeed, express a liking for rough sex.
The other woman only wanted to talk to Assange to inquire as to whether he had any sexually transmissible diseases, because a rubber broke.
That woman self-tested and was found to be OK.
Both women dropped the charges.
Sweden, on its own volition, issued an arrest warrant for Assange on the premise that they wanted to question him.
He said, "Fine. Let's meet and talk."
Sweden ordered him to come back there.
Fearing a trap, Julian declined.
Nah.
I've been following this saga since day one.
The Sweden rape shit was worked out and all parties agreed to let it go.
The UK has him on outstanding warrants for failure to appear.

Adversaries have lawyered up and point out that Assange has repeatedly claimed to be simply the spokesperson for WikiLeaks, and is in no way the custodian of any stolen intelligence.
It will be interesting to see what develops.
Those close to Assange say "they are piling on the pressure," so, for now, it's a fact not in evidence.
Thanks for clearing that up. I just entered the rabbit hole and, so far, I'm learning a lot about the viral Equador vs Ecuador controversy, and zip shit about anything else.
Wish me luck.
... formulaic shit.
None.
If you aren't sophisticated enough to figure it out, busting my butt to load your gun is as stupid as getting your fucking news from a goddam social media site.
It's a problem because people are not going to move away from social media.
Instead of avoidance, we need education.
The Internet, as an entity, is trashed out by capitalism.
It's OK to stay in the water as long as you have a life jacket with the bullshit detector upgrade.
Hopefully, my and your concern will be packaged with the traditional "stranger danger" lecture at some future date.
I agree with you about Amazon and want to add that reading the questions is very helpful.
As to your initial point, I, too, think it's important to know the difference between bullshit and wild honey.
... I'm 72 years old and started doing computers back when Jesus was a carpenter.
Social media is real-time entertainment; not to be taken seriously.
News sites are alive and doing well outside the social media bubble.
I'm disappointed that people who were born after the Internet was well-established don't know this by now.
... the goddam bots to skew things toward what the fucking FCC has already decided to do.
I've calculated my velocity with such exquisite precision that I have no idea where I am.
Your sig wins.
