"The XBox 360 update is still being worked on. If you're wondering what's taking so long, since the content is "done" on the PC already, it's mostly been around fitting it all onto the XBox. The original version of TF2 in the Orange Box was very close to the XBox's memory limit, and all the additional TF2 content we've produced has pushed well beyond it."
In my opinion, the reason you don't see many rabbit ear and external tuners available at the electronics stores is because the store probably gets money for each new subscriber they sign up for cable or satellite.
They would rather get you hooked up to a pay service and get a kickback than sell you an antenna.
>If you think Apple's price controls are nasty, take a look at the high-end watch world
A similar example is Oakley sunglasses. Sunglass Hut, sports stores, etc. all have them for the same price.
I actually bought a pair on sale at a mountain bike shop. I asked the guy how he could sell them at a discount, he said that he was no longer carrying Oakley, so he was discounting them to clear out his inventory.
Also, an excellent write up of the disaster that didn't happen. The Citicorp tower in Chicago would have fallen if it wasn't for fast work by the engineers. Citicorp tower
A few years before I started, they were having some issues with a server apparently rebooting every evening, around 11pm. They checked everything they could think of, and found no problems with they system. After a few weeks, they just couldn't nail down the problem, so one of the guys stayed late to see what happened.
Around 11pm, in walks one of the night cleaners. She reaches down, unplugs the server from the UPS, and plugs in the vacuum sweeper. She cleans the carpet, unplugs the sweeper, plugs back in the server, and leaves.
We suggested that she use a wall outlet, and our server problems were fixed.

Full Spectrum Warrior on the XBOX had a map that was almost identical to a map of the campus at Case Western Reserve University.

I use my iPAQ every day. My mind is always full of random thoughts, so I write them all down so I don't have to remember them.
ToDo list, Grocery list, Gift Ideas, Personal Goals, Movies to Rent, Books/DVDs/Music to Buy.
Also, it is a good way to keep all that information that you don't usually need, but is helpful to have.
Car Maintenance Records, Calling Card Numbers, Phone Numbers, Addresses, etc.
While I am taking classes, the 'Tasks' section is an excellent way to keep track of long term and short term assignments, projects, etc.
I used to use little notepads and a pen, but having it in electronic format helps. Much easier to sort the lists.

A good place to find lots of accidents, and the ethics behind them, can be found at Online Ethics
This is one of the sites that we use for the Engineering Ethics class at CWRU.

Heard a great one while working at a steel plant.
