Anybody figure out how to bypass that mms protocol and save the video file natively? Trying to run crap that big over the 'net is a joke - even at 5 AM on a broadband conection. I saved the Quicktime version, but Quicktime freaks out on my machine with files that large.
Actually, Mr. Norton or Martin Sergeant mentioned something about that recently so they are aware.
I always liked the show, but I stopped watching when they bumped the time slot to 10:30 after the world's lamest golf show with Bill Murray (now that show SUCKED!!!). That's too late to stay up to watch battlebots. But I do enjoy the show and I have yet to see one of the rip-offs approach Battlebot appeal.
What I like about the show is that it's NOT AI. Human on human in real-time. AI's about as exciting as watching those old vibrating football tables - only less so.
I hope Tech TV picks them up. BattleBots is far more interesting than Leo book plug reruns (not that I don't like them the first time around!).

Carmen Electra is always fun to look at, but every time she opens her mouth (to speak . ..) she kills it. That Tracy chick that used to do it was better. Not better looking, but better with a mic. Carmen kept trying to force something and it just wasn't happening. If you can't get Tracy back, give it to Morgan Webb.
Robots and nerds are far from sexy anyway - wrong venue.
