I'm well aware of the problems they go through - had someone I knew who didn't tell anyone, went on hormone therapy to kill off his testosterone, and went around in a bulk jacket even in hot weather. Finally it was his wife who clued me in. This was before we knew that it is usually far better to wait and see, because in most cases, it won't be what kills you. He could have avoided years of embarrassment.
If I get you outraged enough to actually throw away the stereotype that all cancers must be treated aggressively, and look at the facts, I'd say that a bit of trolling has done some good. My wife had the same thing happen to her as happened to that shark. I'd been working abroad 6 months and she managed to get pregnant completely on her own. Unbelievable.
