    do they tell when your tv or your cable box is off? because I leave the cable box on all day(and nite) but I turn the tv off. now since I watch cartoon network would I only get bombarded with childrens ads?

    Ok what constitutes a newer machine? .. A new Hard drive, a new mother board, a new case ? I've been using my same 14 in monitor since my 286. but I've upgraded my other hardware a lot, but not all at once.

    I have at least 7 or 8 different distributions of Linux that I have purchased. I do so to show my support of there product not because I necessarily use them. I can understand that they need money, and being a relatively unknown disto this is probably there only option.

    but for fifteen bucks? perhaps they should EMPHASIZE the collection plate (I mean after all there getting publicity now ./ effect(tm) :-)

    This guy was already making $110k/year salary, so this only doubled his salary.


    Actualy, it is relisticly more that that, I assume he didn't fill out a 1099 MISC and then reported it as incom on form 1040 line 21. So even tho he gets paid 110k he really on gets to keep around 79k. I've been trying to find a link on NPR about what they said about the amount, but paraphraseing what they said : the amount paid is about twice the disposable income.
