$50.00 Canadian to have their NES units repaired. Many of these people have 40 - 50 games and don't want to loose that investment.
I quite agree. I tried to install NT on a partition on my linux box (just to experiment). After 12 hours of downloading drivers and patches I finally got it running, only to blue screen when I tried to install TCP/IP. My RedHat installation took about 1/2 hour and everything worked out of the box.
As for the desktop, my wife (who has no computer savvy whatsoever) has been using Linux on the desktop for three years, and would not go back to Windows for any price.
Have you never heard of Archimedes Principle? If the ice is floating in water, when it melts it turns in to the exact mass of water which it displaces when it is floating. QED there is no net rise or fall in sea level from floating ice melting.

We had one who couldn't install Windows on a blank hard drive. (Had never heard of fdisk!)
And this is a bad thing?
Then they would need MUCH larger boxes . . .
