To put this in persepctive... there are what, 911 names on the hit list? Logging onto KaZaA now I see 3.6 million users.
That puts your chances of winning the RIAA lottery at 911/3.6M = 1 in 4000. I bet the odds are much higher than that because 3.6M is only how many people are logged on this second.
I've heard that there are as many as 50 million file sharing users in the US, assuming that's an accurate figure, the odds are now 1 in 54000.
I was pretty worried about how the UT demo would run on my system, since
I've never really tried any linux games.
My system:
Athlon XP 1800+ @ 1620MHz
512MB RAM
nVidia nForce
Ensoniq AudioPCI for sound in Linux
GeForce4 4400 @ 300/650
Mandrake 8.2/WinXP dual boot
I booted it up, and I was getting 50-100 fps, only about 5% slower than Windows,
and zero image quality differece! Kudos to the UT development team! I don't
think I'll have to boot into windows for the next month!
I have 2 45GB 75GXP's in a RAID 0. Had one drive for over a year, and the other I bought 4 months ago.
Absolutely no trouble with either. My array is extremely fast, and I would buy from IBM again.

I have a Radeon 9700 with AXP @ 1620MHz, 512 MB RAM, nForce motherboard
Ran alpha demo @ 1024x768 and framerates run 30-50 on default settings (all eye candy :-)), probably 35 average.
Remarkable I think considering that when Quake came out, Voodoo 1 cards were running that at 30 fps tops!
I am still recovering....

You know, you really should see Titanic. Behind all the hype and hyperbole, it really *is* a great film.
The Price of Freedom is eternal vigilance eh? Hehe, yeah I know, Wing Commander 4 kicked ass! -avataR
