    My wife started taking my kids so a museum or a landmark every friday ("field trip Friday"). She just googled museums, planetariums, farms, anything that would be interesting to a 5 year old audience and gone. I like the results. It gets the kids thinking about other things and we avoid the pit of TV.

    I'd like them to figure out how proteins fold before messing with the code that makes the proteins that they don't understand. Just sayin'.

  7. I agree that the majority of the "remedies" are full of it, but there is some utility to be had from a couple of the treatments. They put lemon and eucalyptus in cough drops all the time, yet we're mocking people for cutting out the sugar coating and using just the extracts? Just doing a causal search on pubmed with melaleuca return 345 peer reviewed articles in respected journals. These guys weren't looking that hard.
