But hell, why not, more profits, more pay for the CEO. The government can pay it, its rich. Someone knows someone to get these folks a good paying contract.

Why not, most newspapers here in the US feed US propaganda. They don't report the true news or else they omit what is really going on. Just look at the NY Times in the leadup to the Iraq war, they help Cheny/Bush go to war for non-existent weapons of mass destruction. Look at the mess we're in now. We're recruiting terrorists like mad now. We're really hated by lots of folks. Just because of our wanting to take Iraq oil.
Not everyone of us old farts become more conservative. I don't mind my tax money going to help the poor, I do object it going for the defense corporate welfare state or the Fatherland Security Department.
These jackasses cut funding for research, for the poor, for the middle class and yet can give these extremely wealthy parasites tax cuts. They don't cut corporate welfare, they increase an already bloated defense budget. What ass**les.
As a Comcast customer, I really think they have a problem with their service. You can only get their highest internet speeds if you also subscribe to one of their other services (phone or cable tv). I really don't want those services. I just want a high speed internet connection. The other provider is Century Link which I had before and wasn't that impressed with their service.
