    For accuracy nothign beat a mouse. you have to have auto-aim on a console to some exstent whiel the PC needs none of it.

    Well to test your theory, lets find 2 random gamers, say me and you, find a game thats has pc vs console fps action (I can't think of any but when they come we'll go) and we'll play 3 rounds of you console and me mouse, then switch and see whats mroe effective. dimes to dollars the mouse will have more rpecision then the controller.

    Theres something called a shift key, in a lot of games it makes you walk, inversly in older games it makes you run. The analogue on a xbox controller does about the same and requires a little more skill to get right.

    Look buddy some of the richest people in north america and well, in asia are chinese and japanese. The head of Canada's only major airline in chinese, the richest man in Jaimaca is chinese. So it's nto reserving it only for rich white people... umm it's reservign it for white people and some yellow people. :)

    I'm guessing you got the poitn of all the other rebuttals but if you precisions not an issue, then just saying "it's warm" its "cold" is enough. If it is an issue your methods would be pretty inaccurate or else you had a themometer to begin with.

    It's a cutural thing, all chinese cousine is made for chopsticks(not chinese buffets). A lot of chinese people use forks too. But Chopsticks are anolgous to forks. You can stab things with em too. It is a matter of preference bu the parent put it down as a matter of progress. fork > chopstick when it's closer to fork ~ chopstick.

    I'm just pointing it out how arbitrary it all is. Metric has a different set of arbitrary assumptions but they both do. The logic of having more divisirs = better system is just as arbitrary as "we have 10 fingers so we should use base 10."

    2kg of meat into 6 patties is 0.333... of meat each. Hardly rocket science. You'll get used to what ever system you learn but Metric is the defacto measure of science and thus it's counter-productive to have to learn both.

    The thing is, the entirty of the rest of the world can do? is it too hard for americans? Measuring in Metric of English isnt' a huge issue. You get used to it no matter which way it goes. IT's simply easier for you to be in tune with the rest of the world. Science is alreayd metric down there.

    This wont' work. Boiling has as much to do with air pressure as temperature, and freezing will also depend on the natue of the liquid and how pur it is. Both farenheight and Centigrade have the same issues.

    lol, chop sticks are more versitile then forks. You can do eevry thign you do with a fork, but also some things you can't, like picking up a tiny grain of rice.

    The 15% sales tax are provincial and Alberta has none. We have the federal 7% gst and thats it. We also get occasional pre-election kickbacks fromt he government from oil royalties. Our beer is much better, Busweiser is swill and so is coors.

    3-HEro goes and tries to see whats wrong.

    Ohh I was responding to someone who said doom 3 was ripping off Half life. I was just pointing out Half life is ripping off doom 1 just as much.

    None of the anti-forgery measures in U.S. currency (or anyone else's that I know of) add to the risk that someone's REAL currency won't be accepted.
    This is untrue, when a new currency comes out a lot of times shop keepers wont' accept the money because it look different. It takes a add campaign and a few weeks to months before it's whole accepted.

    DB's are subject to input errors, Id's can be forged. Make it the first less likly and the second harder and you improve your over all security. Just because it's not 100% secure doesn't mean it's nto worht doing. For instance the US currency still is way behind in anti-forgery counter measures, adding just 1 feature won't stop the forgery but will make it harder to pass off fake bills thus it's benificial to add a feature. I get what yoru saying about cost but there isnt' too many other ways to ensure someones identiy. The bext you can do is use biometrics on everyone in the US and have anyone visiting go through it too. Then you'd have a mostly unique identifier for the majority of people you encounter, reducing the liklyhood of fraud. It wont' be a 100% reduction but a 50% reduction is worth it.

    Still, it's about reducing the likly hood of making a *real* fake. Sorta of liek this, right now 60% of criminals can egt a *real* fake but only 30% will be able to do so with the biometric and if theres a central DB then it's on 10% that can afford to bribe everybody involved and it leaves a lot mroe paper trail if someone had to tamper with the DB.

    IT'd be more about security. Havinf one extra check means 1 extra step to fail and one extra thing for them to make. Make's it more difficult to commit identity fraud because they now have to be able to code biometric data. This will cut out a large portion of forgers.
