When you buy a generic program and install it on a computer, the up-time is about 90%. If you need a better up time, hire a guy to babysit. If you need 99.9%, you need probably 3 shifts to cover it ass 24-7-365.25. Do the daily maintainance etc. To get a better figure, a backup of a power backup, a team of kernel expert, hardware guru to stand-by. A earth-quake proof building, 16-feet fire resistance 747 crash-proof wall. And it is necessary to replace a dynamic ram with static ram so that the cosmic ray is not flipping any bit around etc...

So in short answer, if you need a rock solid service, you have to pay more.

If you ask for a warranty from MS. Their answer would most probably like "ok, first we shall send down a serviceman to certify your machine, Us$5,000. patch your machine when the patch come out, us$6,000, ... and so on"

To say Ozone is a toxic gas is as true as saying sunlight is bad for your skin. Ozone is around for millions of year, and so is sun light. The amount of ozone generated by ion breezer is quite low on ozone. The real toxic gas is in fact oxide of nitrogen generated by these machines when the moisture is high. When inhaled it forms nitrous acid and that is hurting your lung. In a busy traffic, sulphur dioxide and nitrogen oxides are the ones that gives you the most discomfort. If you insist on the toxicity of ozone. Take a shot-gun and blast your 21" TV. Replace it with an LCD.

SARS stands for Senior-citizen Accelerated Reduction Scheme. Anyone at a 3-feet radius around a SARS patient will be sprayed with thousands of droplets from his/her mouth. Medical mask alone is not enough to stop the spread you'll survive better with a pair of goggles and a detail aseptic training. Motality rate is about 5% in Asia, 10% in Canada. If 10 million got the disease, you will find 1 million graves more somewhere. A little bit more than the Hiroshima blast.
At first no one will believe it, it's just common cold flu. Then people start to cough and cannot breath. Next, you'll find the ICU in the hospital is jammed with respiratory patient and to make the matter worse, the medical front-line is collapsing one after the other.
Please study the disease and avoid it before it ever begin in your city.
SARS kills, SARS also kill your tourism, restaurant, hotel flat. Business will go down 90%. By all means, avoid SARS.
