  1. Soyuz Capsule on Space Shuttle Columbia Breaks Up Over Texas · · Score: 0

Why do some newscasters and their so called experts keep saying that we need to use a shuttle to return the people on the ISS back to earth? Why couldn't they just use the Soyuz capsule to return to earth? What would they do if there was an emergency on ISS, wait for a shuttle to me ready? I don't think so, they would use the emergency capsule that is built into ISS, the Soyuz capsule. Is it a coincidence that Soyuz holds three people and there are three people onboard ISS?

Enough rambling about this, I just can't stand it when the newscasters and there experts pass on obviously false info.

God bless the 7 astronauts and there families.

My lap to anti-theft device magically makes my computer turn into a desktop system. No way anyone will every steal this away me, other than breaking into my house.

My only need for a laptop is for portability around the house. Anything on my computer is too valuable to risk being taken out in public.

    Just my $0.02

I know this case mod stuff has become very popular, but I don't get it, why mod up your case.

Is it the 'cool' geek thing to do?

I guess I just don't get it. My box sits under the desk collecting dust, the only time I ever look at it is to insert or remove a floppy or cd/dvd. I would never see any of the mods.

Oh well, just curious as to why it is done?

No sir, you are an idiot.

XXXXXXX mm^2 is a unit of measure, that measure being area, not a mathmatical term of squaring a number. In my world 'square mm' is the same as mm^2.

Did you even read my post? Let's do a math problem. 170 x 170 = 28900. With me so far? Ok lets say it is 170 mm X 170 mm ( length X height, still with me?) = 28900 mm^2 or 28900 square mm. Make sense, or do you need to take geometry again?

    It's not 170 mm^2 but 170 mm X 170 mm

    geez man, 170 mm X 170 mm IS 170mm

    When I type 170 x 170 into my calculator I get 28900. That would be 28900mm^2.

No, he did not lose the popular vote. I thought that the media (as liberal as it is) reported that Bush did win the popular vote.

Since when does "helmet" mean ear protection? I would think that a "hard hat" would be closer to a "helmet" than ear protection.

    Recap,
helmet -- protects head (i.e. Hockey Helmet)
hard hard -- protects head (i.e Used in Construction)
ear protection -- protects ears (i.e ear plugs or similar item)

Therefore helmet=hardhat which would most likely mean that hardhat or helmet does not equal ear protection.

OSHA? WHY? Are you just trying to create trouble for the contractor doing the work? OSHA won't help with this problem.
