  1. Not more, but less realism on Realtime ASCII Goggles · · Score: 1

It's funny - game developers attempt to make reality out of something imagined and this guy makes something imagined out of reality. Go figure. :)

  2. I wouldn't like to test it, would the reporter? on Are Liquid Explosives on a Plane Feasible? · · Score: 1

"Feasible"??? Maybe the reporter would like to board a plane with terrorists having the same equipment as the ones who were caught? I sure wouldn't.

  3. This may sound funny, but it's true,,, on Deja Vu Recreated in a Lab Setting · · Score: 1

There was a time where I experienced that Déjà vu feeling quite often, so often, in fact, that I was able to determine what caused it - at least I think so. Here it is --- gas or flatulence --- or more precisely the build-up of gas pressure on my spine or some nerves leading to the brain? Seriously -- I know this, when I felt that Déjà vu feeling I could make a sure bet that a BM was close.

    Talk amongst yourselves...

  4. Loose the "ears" on Working Model of MIT $100 Laptop a Hit · · Score: 1

I think this is an excellent project, but the silly cover "ears" must go! They will be the first thing to break off. Maybe if they slid down into the cover...? My 0.5 cents worth.

  5. Bloggers Bill of Rights?... on Blogging as Press Freedom in Repressive Places · · Score: 1

This is interesting: We the Bloggers... by: Mark Fletcher and the Bloglines team - Blogs have given individuals of any and every background the ability to freely speak their minds and share information with anyone who chooses to read it, at any time they wish to do so. Bloglines was created for people as a window to access this world of dynamic content and a way to participate in its creation. We believe blogs have helped enable an open exchange of information that has never before been possible. As some of you may have heard, the Federal Election Commission (FEC) is reviewing its regulations concerning political speech on the Internet, including blog activity. Bloglines is committed to the continuation of open exchanges of information and opinions throughout the blogosphere and the Internet in general. Today, the Committee on House Administration is having a hearing on this issue. In the spirit of these beliefs, I have provided the Committee with the following statement. We encourage you to express your opinion on this matter in any forum you choose.

  6. Gmail coming soon - hypothosis on Google Goes Public at $85/share · · Score: 1

One way to boost your stock value; 1) promote a great free and currently unavailable service like gmail, with internal advertisements, for what seems like ages. 2) Go IPO 3) make this service finally available to the public. 4) rake it in. - ta da!
