With memory what it is these days, no-one need bother with lossy mp3s.
This to be honest. I haven't listened to music in years, no paying streaming companies, letting the government know my tastes in music, OR paying the liberal extremists in Hollywood a dime. Just remember the songs the first time you hear them and there's no loss.
I very much doubt this, there will be trade agreements that US is obliged to keep. I don't know if it applies in this instance, but zero obligation doesn't seen feasible.
Trade agreements are irrelevant, the DoD has the final say in anything remotely defense related, which using foreign software most certainly is. If you remember back to the the satellite internet guys trying to take over the GPS band (possibly to spur interest in Galileo, though I'll disregard the conspiracy aspect of it for the moment,) it passed every fucking approval agency over the course of years, the senate, the house, the PoTUS, FCC, everything - a few weeks before they were about to switch over a general speaks up and says "you aren't doing this because it will break our GPS navigation system and we need that," and it was dead in the water, company went bankrupt, etc. When you get down to it the world still runs on the same concept it ever did: might makes right. There is no obligation to sacrifice security by accepting foreign dependencies.
It need not be a "US entity", merely a legal entity that's present in the US.
Corporations are government constructs, they aren't things save for a government calling them a thing and giving them some degree of personhood. The US is under zero obligation to recognize foreign entities, even if you want to try to say the US must recognize foreign persons (hint: you'd be wrong there as well.)
A) The Clintons and Soros control that fact check website you linked, you literally cited propaganda.
B) The Clintons received over 100m in their personal accounts for that sale, but sure, it was "unrelated."
C) You're a shill.
Selling Uranium is bad? To a nation that we have a reciprocal nuclear decommission treaty with? We sell nuclear materials to each other all the time. Selling Uranium to Russia is no worse than selling anything else to Russia. We both have nuclear stockpiles. We aren't empowering them by selling any more fissile material to them.
Are you really so ignorant of the subject you are speaking about to be unaware the Clintons took about 100m into their personal accounts for the sale and that it was Uranium refined for used in breeder reactors to create new weapons-grade materials with little other practical purpose? No, I think you're a shill.
Damn it! This is exactly why we need net neutrality. Here we are now living in a world without net neutrality, and this happens so soon. Damn it, people, we need net neutrality!
No, both reasons are why we need mesh nets. Moreover, lack of net neutrality will bring about mesh nets, the death of Silicon Valley marketing mega corps (e.g. Silicon Valley corporations,) the end of monopolistic control over the content people share online, etc. The death of net neutrality will be the greatest thing to happen on the internet since before the start of The Eternal Summer, by ending The Eternal Summer.
You're just a retarded piece of shit, that's all. Muh Russian hackers were a very real influence in the 2016 election cycle and time is not going to be kind to your ignorant, vatnik comments here.
You went full retard, never go full retard. The Russians put a grand total of a few thousand dollars into Facebook advertising which didn't even get many views - they were probably just studying memes like everyone else. Meanwhile Hillary had backing from dozens of foreign state actors, AND she actually sold Uranium to the Russians, which is worse than anything anyone has even accused Trump of.
I'm certainly not in the category of people screaming "muh Russian hackers" until they're blue in the face, but this lawsuit is dumb. Only Americans have rights to anything, due process included. Moreover, having ANY foreign hardware or software on a government network is beyond dumb. Other nations aren't our friends, even when they are allies.
Don't be ridiculous, according to the flatearthers we're surrounded by a giant ice wall and the grey "aliens" have us pinned off inside because they don't want us escaping, anyone who goes near the edge gets probed to death.
Yeah. His beliefs lack consistency to say the least...
Not really. He's an old daredevil who suckered a bunch of flatearthers into donating money so he could build a rocket, he knows he only has one shot at it so he's trying to make it as much of an adrenaline rush as he can without getting sued for taking advantage of the retarded.
If you remove the fact that they are academics working on psychics then you basically have a good basis for life in the SF Bay.
A) A marketing hub is NOT tech.
B) The Big Bang Theory isn't remotely nerd related, it mocks nerds in a manner meant to create "geek culture," which is a marketable audience, unlike nerds.
C) You don't belong here.
Silicon Valley isn't even close to Dilbert or The IT Crowd. It's not even about tech, it's about Silicon Valley culture - which is the culture of marketing people pretending to work in tech, not tech.
Our professional drivers are intelligent enough alone to build fucking rockets which rival all of North Korea, and you find that reason to mock us? Truly the cry of an ape.
I give life to unthinking matter to do my bidding.
Or alternatively:
I make machines present data in a way which tells idiotic sales, marketing, and business people what decisions to make.
Either one works really, but why would you bother explaining things to an unthinking plebeian so simple they can't even code? Seems a bit like hooting at the monkeys in the primate cages at the zoo.
Season 1 was nice, after that it just turned into artsy bullshit. I was expecting another post-apocalyptic storyline, except with an actual start to the plot. I got a season of mildly amusing schizophrenia followed by batshit communist bullshit.
Nothing about this story belongs here - not "news for nerds," not even tech, not even some kind of crime of remote interest, just some "journalist" blogging about how he committed fraud over the most victim-less crime imaginable and it's somehow someone else's fault? No way legitimate users upvoted this garbage in the firehose, not even the users who call themselves legitimate which post blogspam - this going well beyond blogspam. MODS PLEASE BAN OR REVOKE THE KARMA OF EVERYONE WHO UPVOTED THIS IN THE FIREHOSE - probably the best filter you'll ever get of spammers.
The concept of tangles is great, but it's designed for IoT devices. It has no concept of mining. It is funded by an initial issue (meaning any future funds come from the developers printing money.) It has the flaw that if they ever add a mining concept it will end up with a flaw where people can take 10+ machines offline, have them validate each other, then come back online.

It's interesting how you nuts got even nuttier after Trump beat your chosen sociopath.
Actually, she wasn't even involved with the process as related by the person on the committee:
A) The Clintons and Soros control that fact check website you linked, you literally cited propaganda.
B) The Clintons received over 100m in their personal accounts for that sale, but sure, it was "unrelated."

>Only Americans have rights to anything
remember that when you exit the USA.
Why, you think there's some kind of reciprocity to that viewpoint? The rule applies anywhere on Earth, all other nations exist to serve America.
A) Empathy is not a virtue.
B) Fuck the Christcucks.
I'm certainly not in the category of people screaming "muh Russian hackers" until they're blue in the face, but this lawsuit is dumb. Only Americans have rights to anything, due process included. "... so that I'll have more money to funnel out of the nations which gave it to me."
FTFY.
Just go to the edge and jump off.
Don't be ridiculous, according to the flatearthers we're surrounded by a giant ice wall and the grey "aliens" have us pinned off inside because they don't want us escaping, anyone who goes near the edge gets probed to death.

They made a short-lived cartoon series. Dilbert is the most accurate depiction of tech life, ever.
I'd agree. A longer running one might be The IT Crowd; it's British, but in spite of its terrible flaw it's not bad.
Our professional drivers are intelligent enough alone to build fucking rockets which rival all of North Korea, and you find that reason to mock us? Truly the cry of an ape.

Mozilla: "We did it for money!"
When you put it that way they sound like hookers, just less attractive.
Waterfox is a little better, but Palemoon isn't bad.
Season 1 was nice, after that it just turned into artsy bullshit. I was expecting another post-apocalyptic storyline, except with an actual start to the plot. I got a season of mildly amusing schizophrenia followed by batshit communist bullshit.
Mozilla justified its decision to include the extension because "the people marketing Mr. Robot paid us."
