Well, you better find one fast because that whole "phone" thing is rapidly going out of style. The only way I was able to get a half-way decent phone was to buy one with a camera in it. It's an interesting little gimick but drains the battery quickly, so I almost never use it.
I had to basically change my criterion to a phone that would just RING, not play the latest hit from Top-40 land...
I can vouch that this was indeed the case. Two of the handful of screenames I use on a regular basis were being punted at stage two of the sign in with an error about the account being suspended.
The box had a little "More Info" button that I clicked on that was supposed to explain why my account had been suspended. Two of them had to do with actual AOL accounts (mine are AIM only), the third had to do with being less than 13 (I can buy beer), and the last was a "you violated the TOS" option.
Dunno what happended, but as of last night, all of my screen namers were back up and running. The disconnections seemed to have no relation to the e-mail address they were registered to or when the last time I used them was.
As an interesting side note, check out this story. It says that Intel reverse engineered the AMD64 architecture (which isn't terribly surprising) but then flat-out copied the documentation, even though some of their implementation didn't match up!
But... I thought that peer-to-peer sharing was horribly immoral and only used for warez and porn!!
Seriously, though, this is the kind of thing that I desperately wish mainstream media/Congress paid more attention to. It's only the lawsuits and illegal uses that get covered because that's what sells ads.
Yeah, but the problem I've found with this is the number of websites that will bounce the address as invalid because it contains "illegal" characters, and by illegal, I mean non-alphanumeric.
But really, that's nothing compared to being told that the name I've entered is invalid because it contains an apostrophe....
Well, as a student at CMU, I can tell you that it'd be great to see the campus expanded. However, given that we're about 5 minutes from downtown Pittsburgh and the land they're talking about is out west, that would be one long ass commute every day. Maybe we can take those crazy BDD airships?

Nice one, guys.

All in favor of waiting until electronic voting is mature and trustworthy before deployment raise your hand...

Well, I mean, maybe it wasn't a disingenuous comment.
Maybe they have other uses for the $55 fee.
After all, Doom 3 is $54.99....
