    This article must have been written by supporters of closed software. The ratio of 0.57/0.09 is 6.333~ and the article states it is 6. Clearly FUD. Let the flaming begin!

    Yes, it says it tries to use OO Math, however OO automatically recognizes your ( .doc ? ) file and opens it with OO Writer.

    I had never seen so many people walk out on that movie.

    It actually made the enjoyment by the end more thorough and intimate. All characters were just lovable and that speaks well about it ( most all characters were "villains" that were actually pretty cruel ).

    Insightful.

    In fact, as much as I have been unsupportive of this war, seeing how difficult it was to capture one person, I would figure there *might* be some truth in the existence of WMD being concealed.

    Of course, this may be showing my ignorance of concealability of WMD.

    One of the definitive factors are dictionaries. For example, if Webster's authors decided something, everyone else followed.

    Even in 1913 ( dict.org ), "spat" was marked archaic, and "spit" was suggested.

    I agree. Even if certain clauses will presumably be deemed unenforceable, it is always best to avoid the courts in the first place by revising the contract, to exclude said clauses.

    California Labor Code Section 2870:

    Employment agreements, assignment of rights:
    Any provision in an employment agreement which provides that an employee shall assign or offer to assign any of his or her rights in an invention to his or her employer shall NOT apply to an invention for which no equipment, supplies, facility or trade secret information of the employer was used and which was developed entierly on the employee's own time, and (a) which does not relate (1) to the business of the employer or (2) to the employer's actual or demonstrably anticipated research or development, or (b) which does not result from any work performed by the employee for the employer. Any provision which purports to apply to such an invention is to that extent against the public policy of this state and is to that extent, void and unenforceable.
