Write your congressmen, sure, but that's obviously not likely to work since I think there's relatively few people who really care. Is sharing on p2p networks a better way to procede? By basically showing the government can no longer protect restrictive copyrights, would this be a "civil disobedience" mechanism to defeat such mechanisms? Just curious what people think about actually continuing to fight this, rather than reading complaints.
Maybe not as sexy as this one, but they already exist. Lasers are believed to have been used by the Sovs against American pilots in an attempt to permanently blind them, see info here. Also, a big deal is dazzlers, which temporarily do the same thing, see some info here.
Interesting...I also use Dvorak almost exclusively, and have also noticed numbness in my pinkies. I never have had any RSI, and have been using Dvorak exclusively for the last 4 years or so. I'm also a home/job keyboarder, spending the vast majority of my time typing. My problems are simply an occaisional annoyance that comes and goes (currently:), but it's very interesting to see another Dvorak user with similar problem, different from the QWERTY folks.
