Sony just want people considering doing the BIG investment in a XBox uncertain on how long this generation of consoles will last and make them go for the cheaper alternative to be on the safe side.
That is the reason why Microsoft is so successful, they are not just greedy they are greedy and smart enough to realize that a large install base is the key to expanding.
With the uppcomming XBOX release and the flame the PS2 has got for beeing hard to code for they where in need of a easy way to tap the flood of PC games and a good API. This is a great step for SDL & PS2!

If thats the case it's your distros fault, KDE on Debian(Woody) is really zippy.
When doing advanced perl programming I figure being autistic (Rain man) would help figuring out the syntax.

I would if there was a native GPL'd QT on windows, now I use wxwindows instead and the Trolls just miss out on developer base.
