Yes, I agree. There used to be bugs, but what that dude is describing is something that would have effected thousands of pc's and would have been found in testing before making main repo. Linux has come a long way in the last decade. Vastly more secure and stable than windows. Also more control over your actual hardware. People are normally just afraid of having to learn a new OS so they will defend windows to the death even when they know its garbage. All we need is for a few high profile to convince adobe, and autodesk and the like that they want a linux port, and that would be that. We are sitting in the chicken and egg conundrum. Steam has done so much for linux gaming in the last 5 years its insanity. And they're pushing devs to develop native for linux, and it seems to be working honestly. And as stated previously, Ubuntu is the windows 10 of linux, Very little learning curve and bleeding edge support for software and hardware. I haven't had a linux system break that I didn't fuck up on my own in years. I just happen to like to tinker, and keep all important shit off my main drive so if If I have to kill my root and start over its no issue. And with /home on a separate partition or disk all together your desktop settings persist. And normally across distros providing you're using the same DE.

Sure old games... PS1 and such im sure. But as someone else said, there is always torrents. Combine that with a modded rig of that era, or an emulator is fine for most now a days.

It was a while, maybe 2 years? But that would make it not an exclusive. It was just a computer game. Steam is 1000x better than the shit they used before it, cant remember. But it would drop connection in the middle of updates and was just horrible all around. Went to wiki to try to find the original services name was.. Blueshift was apparently released for PS in 2001. NFI what the original service was, but it was horrible. And steam, for the most part kicks ass...

Wrong, the feminists are just mad because they wont ever look like the girls in the video games. Have you ever seen the kind of feminist who runs around screaming about shit like this? They wonder why men don't want anything to do with them.. Well look at them. Incidentally the men who look and act like them have the same problem and I think are now being referred to as 'numale'(?). Either way they should get off their ass exercise, shower, and put some damn deodorant on...

No, but you make them money. Because if you lose the disk or scratch it too bad, you no longer own the game and have to go buy it again. Or well that's how it used to be last time I even touched a console. I'm sure not a lot has changed.

If you're a casual gamer who buys maybe one or two games a year, console will be cheaper. But never better.

I would think it would be the other way around, the PC would be cheaper as you would be able to use it for a multitude of other things, and it doesn't just collect dust 90% of the time when you're not playing your one or two games a year. Plus Steam Free-to-Play section. Increasing the amount of games you can play for the same budget..

I'm gonna guess that counts the guy that got convicted with life without parole and 3 months later killed him self. That probably counts as serving 3 months on a m1 or something stupid like that. you know how statistics lie and shit. I know here in nevada If you murder someone(m1) you're lucky to get to see the light of day within the next 10 years. that's the cool down period for that crime. They lock you in a cell, and to shower, they have a shower box that rolls around and it gets rolled up to your door and locked on. the door opens you shower and then get back in the cell. 10 years of that. providing you don't act like an asshat, they let you go to a max yard after that.

  17. It's self explanatory, he did it because hes stupid.. They didn't need to mention it. We all got it.

Incorrect. It is a federal case so he has to do I believe 85% before he is eligible for parole. That means at a maximum sentence of 10 years he would do 8.5 years minimum. When it comes down to state there is different rules all around the country. Nevada has a scaling system where its x-x months/years and the front number can not exceed 40% of the back number. So for instance he could get a 4-10 year sentence. In 4 years from the date of arrest he would get a chance to see the parole board. depending on the crime they can choose to dump him(not release). That normally depends somewhat on your case, your behavior in prison, and wot not. Some states have a flat time system and you do the time they give you. 48 months is 48 months. Telling you this from experience unfortunately.

But you should at least give it a whole hearted effort. Part of the problems we have today stems around people not respecting others. And it disgusts me honestly. But to each their own.
