You are correct. And there is only one way to get them to change that. Instead of paying for the inferior software they provide.. Bootleg it. Fuck them, They can have their money when they act right. Until that day i will never give another penny to a software vendor.

I have used both os's since the late 90's and have been using Windows since the early 90's when my father introduced me to computers. There are things that both do well. Although I feel Linux does everything better except gaming. Which is the main reason I even have Windows computers in my house. And that could be changed with a few well placed dev teams. Steam has been doing nothing wonders in the last 4 years with this. And hopefully in just a few years more there will be no need to be tied to either os. As far as servers go a UNIX base is will always be superior to Windows.

You can build one that's about the size of a Walkman for not much money at all. And nobody will stop supporting MP3 format ever. It's too widely used. Once most manufacturers stop making MP3 players somebody else will start. He'll those black plastic frisbees the old people used to use for music still has players made for them. And that's horrible audio.

My point is, the Internet was much better before commercialization. It will never get better until the commercial crap is on its own network.
