  1. Wrong... on First Cloned Human Embryo · · Score: 1

identical twins are the splitting of the same egg. That's the same person.

As for the gene defects, how are we supposed to fix it without studying it? Performing this stuff is unethical on humans, but is it really any more ethical to do it on animals?

  2. We've been doing it for years... on First Cloned Human Embryo · · Score: 4, Insightful

Can you tell me any biological difference between clones and twins? (besides the fact that they were done at the same time)

Identical twins are the same person at birth who have different events in life that alter their personalities and responses to shape a new individual.

This doesn't frighten me at all. No 'soul' bullshit, because if there are souls, then it's a new one in the clone, not the same one. This has a lot of potential for good, and I don't know of much that doesn't have it for bad too. So let's all relax and think before we cry 'OH DEAR GOD SOMEBODY PLEASE THINK OF THE CHILDREN'.

I didn't misread it, I implied through 'newspeak' that it had been altered. As you said yourself, "If they HAD targetted these on purpose... they would be very unlikely to say so. Instead, they'd obfuscate the truth..." Cnn has reported legitimately, but it alters its articles. Course, how can I prove it? Screenshots? Those can be faked. No way, so they'er pretty safe, now arent' they.

If you're unsure, rent it first.

BC recognises it's the parent's role to look at what their kids are playing. One person's PG might be another's R, and vice versa. Nobody should be paying for a standardized system we don't need.

  18. I have a definition on Defining Globalism · · Score: 2
Globalization is the process by which the bankers and the financial elite mean to control the world through unprecidented totalitarian steps. Slowly but surely, every government is selling out their people and giving more and more power to the countries that are controlled by capitalist governments, who are in turn controlled by corporations.

Bilderbergs. The Trilateral Commision. Ring any bells? Conspiracy theories quote them, but you should do the research yourself. Look for David Rothchild quotes.

We are controlled by money. An oligarchy of the rich is approaching, and we're kissing their hands for doing it because of our own greed. I believe in true capitalism; bribery of the government doesn't fit into that.
