Uh, the EU (NOT including Russia) has a larger land-area, population and Economy than the US.

It wasn't late - there were a dozen copies at my local Borders (Although only the full professional edition, not the update or personal)

Luckily, we're taking about jack-shit from the artist though. That "hard-working professional" record exec can smell my small one in the meantime.

Yeah, and freedom of speech allows me to send you commercial mail that you have to pay the postage for? I think not, thief.

Spamming is theft of facilities and is no more covered by freedom of speech than rioting is protected by freedom of association.

"Or is it that you believe you have a God given, natural law, pre-sociatal, and/or perhaps Constitutional right to play DVDs on your Linux system even if the seller sells it to you with the clear understanding, and with the honest admission, that they can be displayed only on licensed players?" Uh, yeah, I do actually. The £20 that I handed over for the DVD gives me the right to play it on an auth DVD-player, My PC or use it for a damb frisbee if I want to. What part of 'fair use' is hard for you to understand? If I (Where 'I' am a monopoly association of all car manufacturers and retailers) sold you a car and said: here's your car, but you can only drive it in the US; if you want to drive in Canada or Mexico, you must buy another car, would you ACTUALLY buy another car; or would you hand over the money, laugh, and drive YOUR car wherever YOU want to go in it?
