    so, no it's not "linux -its illegal" but it may be "mono - it's illegal"

    So, the feds set an "internet sales tax" rate, which is collected once at payment by the end buyer. It all goes into a big fund that is divided amongst all of the states (perhaps according to sales or population)

    Add some way for me to re-vote (so I can vote properly after the thug leaves my home) or a way to indicate a "voting under duress" condition that voids the vote silently. The thugs can't be in everyone's home at the last minute of voting.

    Just asking... How about a "None of the above" vote.. That can win.

    If none of the above wins - the current office holder stays but a new vote is taken with new candidates. The process continues until someone is voted in.

    Oh and online voting in America - DO NOT WANT EITHER.

    Here's a lesson, never make parts that can break off out of something you can't easily cut. If the knob were

    It's tough to pin down such a large group of people..

    Reject network DVRs -> Group A says: "Government in the MPAA/RIAA's pocket!"
    Defend network DVRs -> Group B says: "Government in the cable companies/ISP's pocket!"

    Wonder what group C thinks of this.

    1) let the us drop back behind the .US tld so www.google.com becomes www.google.com.us

    2) Each country operates their own country level tld and it's authoritative DNS roots.

    3)Countries may filter at their borders

    4)No body gets a say on how we number and name .US websites. We don't get a say in theirs.

    5) use something like NAT routing so each country level domain has the full IPV4 address range
    (thus putting off the call for IPV6 for a little longer)

    I have heard of VMware ESXi. You fire up a server and then run various virtual machines there.

    I guess you have a control program that runs from a workstation? Could the workstation live on one of the virtual machine provided by ESXi on the same machine?

    Plus, who says just because there is a browser on the BIOS that you can't boot into a regular OS if you want to? TBH, the browser OS will probably be the optional OS on a PC, not the primary (though it could be!).

    I am not sure that the article is speaking of a machine that can run a general OS as well as the BIOS OS.

    A small BIOS based optional OS would also be real nice for backing up the Main OS of your machine.

    And I would love to see a BIOS based OS that provided a virtual box type program where you ran your main OS (or multiple OSs) in a virtual PC.

    But the only cloud my data will be in is a cloud I own myself. (I might put copies of data in the cloud for sharing purposes though)

    When my internet is down I still have plenty to do on my computer. When your internet is down you will have to sit in the corner lonely and bored. so sad.

    It depends, Do I have to pay a monthly fee for the privilege of having the latest version of the application sent to me each time I launch?

    Will I need "permission" from some other entity to access my own data?
