I've been using Macromedia and Adobe products for about 10 years. Both companies make EXCELLENT tools, they have evolved quite a lot. The struggle for graphics tool supremacy is a seesaw. Some of the battle is fought on the tool/os front, some on the legal front.
Nothing new, but it will be interesting to see what comes out of this (if anything).
As long as we (people who grew up with the Trek incarnations) don't get too picky about the "time line" accuracy, it could develop into a nice little view of ourselves. Lets give it a year and see.

The Star Wars films are ment to be seen through the eyes of a child. The content and structure are that of the old serials (Flash Gordon, Spy Smasher, Batman). Yes there is some fluf, but one cannot take this too seriously.
I agree. Proper dimensionality for proper content. Not everything benifits from being 3D
I think 3D browsing needs the "Killer App" it has been looking since the beginning of graphical browsing. The hardware is finally here. Many of the early attempts were a bad experience because of performance.

I tried to look at some of the aniamtions. What kind of ActiveX files are they? I could not view the material, but it kind of looked interesting.
