  1. Re:twitter feed on GamerGate Critic Brianna Wu To Run For Congress (cnn.com) · · Score: 1

You post doesn't even make sense. Regardless, we don't need another monster (IE: Brianna Wu) in politics.

  2. Just like the violent protestors on Anonymous Declare 'Total War' On Donald Trump, Threaten To 'Dismantle His Campaign' (businessinsider.com) · · Score: 1

Well, we see who are the evil ones, now don't we. Anti-trump protesters have not only disrupted many of his rallies with violence, and silencing the freedom of speech. They now are going to try to use more thug tactics. I still haven't seen the same level of violence disrupting Hillary or Sanders.

  3. bad for worker rights on Buffer Sees Clear Benefits To Transparent Employee Salary Policy · · Score: 1

The problem with having all salaries transparent, is that it takes away the negotiating ability of workers. Workers now won't be able to negotiate their salaries as it's all transparent and will pretty much be the same as everyone in their department. If you look at countries like Denmark (where salaries and tax returns are all public), this is exactly what has happened: This will probably save the company millions in the long-run.

  4. The app market on Sorry, Indie Devs -- Pop Apps Are the Future of App Store (imore.com) · · Score: 1

The issue we have now is that apps are really cheap. It's pretty much impossible to have a sustainable living as an Indy developer on a $1.99 app. The smarter route to take is utilize apps as another marketing channel for a larger service. All of the big corporations have lots of more resources and don't need to make a profit with the apps they release. It will be nearly impossible to win this kind of battle.
