    Most polution is produced in towns with cars idling and not on the motorway and don't most electric cars use regenerative braking. It would be interesting to know who funded this report and is there a link to it.

    By not sharing their own evaluations these companies are also facilitating the hackers, are they not. Does software evaluation firm AV-TEST contribute their own evaluations to VirusTotal?

    Not only that, Asus invented a tachyon transmitter and sent a msg back in time before Windows 7 telling the Asus engineers to deliberately insert the design flaws.

    Have you given serious consideration to the thought that they deliberately caused KB3133977 to fail to enthuse users to upgrade to Windows 10. If this strikes you as being a little paranoid, MS did exactly this, as in causing Windows apps to crash on OS/2, causing windows clients to not play nice with Netware ref ref and throwing up an error when Windows 3.1 was installed under DR-DOS.

    There are some technological benefits from living under our corporate overlords. As there are loses, such as not being able to choose politicians who will work in our interrests. The question is - is it worth it - giving up control over our lives to a global Panopticon for access to cheap shiny gadgets. The pretext for transfering power to such entities being to protect us from the 'terrorists', the 'war on drugs' etc. The terrorist threat being used as a pretext to prosecute a medium sized war in some far away place. I only wish Mr Robot was entirely imaginary.

    As someone else pointed out the msg of Avatar isn't anti technology but more opposed to the kind of neofeudal corporatism that we're all headed into, where the nation state operates at the behest and at the interests of the major multi-nationals. It's interesting seeing a similar msg coming through in such as Mr. Robot and Continuum.

    Google designed a totally independent implementation of the Java API. Java was originally described as being free to use unencumbered by a license by Jonathan Schwartz before Sun sold it to Oracle. The Google version used in android is a totally independent and unique design. Does not use the Java Virtual Machine but one of Dalvik or the Android Runtime (ART).

    Wouldn't be the first time some fraud was trying to rustle up some free publicity. Remember Ken Starks and his issues with Karen of AISD who banned Linux from the classroom. Thing is AISD had no knowlege of the issue: Linux - Stop holding our kids back

    Currently Starks is having issues with the 'Taylor Housing Authority', as in 2013 they refused permission for Starks to site a computer in one of their housing projects citing a lack of appliance inspection. Last Feb they contacted Starks requesting 125 for their residents: Be Careful of What You Wish For...No, Seriously
