North American and Europe can probably manage, though the debate over who pays for that vanished wealth is going to be ugly. But China, India, and Pakistan?
Europe can't manage, because the people from Pakistan can walk over to Europe. It's already happening today.
do you not think any sea level rise would be engineered around just as the Dutch have done for over a hundred years?
Building higher seawalls is not a long term strategy. You don't really want megacities sitting in a deep bathtub where a single breach in the barrier would completely inundate it. Also, as the pressure of the seawater increases, it will start to penetrate under the wall. Florida already has that problem.
And if someone doesn't understand how to use a smart pointer instead of a raw pointer or avoiding class inheritance hell at this point, then really, they shouldn't be contributing to your C++ projects.
Maybe the projects aren't mine. Maybe the project is run by a business, and I'm just one of the people in the team, and the boss has hired a few idiots as well.
When an exchange restricts cashing out, it has the effect of driving the price of bitcoin up, because the only way to get your stash off the exchange is by converting it to bitcoin first. That's what happened to Mt Gox, and the reason behind the quick rise to $1000 in 2013.
If you're only playing with $50, you can bitcoin on an exchange, and leave it there until you want to sell it without having to pay any transaction fees.
Have you ever personally verified that the Earth is round?
Have any flat earthers personally verified that the Earth is flat ?
Get a bunch of flat earthers from different places in the world in an on-line chat, and ask them to measure the angle of the sun. Repeat a few times at different hours. Now try to construct a flat Earth model that matches all the observations. Try the same with a standard round Earth.
they could be a driving force to change the demographics and wealth in these areas by putting a store in such areas.
You could argue that Apple is helping them by not tempting them with overly expensive status symbols they don't need. If you live in a poor neighborhood, you should use your money to get a library pass, not a shiny Apple product.
You don't have to trace back too many generations to see that in the United States you had the vast majority of blacks in chattel slavery where there was no ability to accumulate generational wealth
And if you trace further back you get in Africa, where people have been poor for as long as they existed.
The article makes it sounds like Apple selects the store locations based on skin color, but I suspect Apple just picks places with high potential customer demographics. That those areas happen to correlate with skin color is not Apple's fault.
Try to cut on sugar for a week. That means reading and understanding the labels. Harder than you think.
I've been sugar free for a few years now. It's pretty easy, because I avoid all the aisles with boxes and packages. Most of my food is home cooked fresh meat, vegetables, nuts, fruit, fish, eggs and dairy. Generally unprocessed, or minimally processed.
Instead, just the other week, there was news about some large hot magma plumes
The magma plumes have been there for a long time, while the ice was stable. It didn't start moving until we added CO2 to the mix.

No language can compensate for having idiots in your team, but some languages, like C++, make it worse.
And remember: if you see no idiots on your team, you are the idiot.
With some extra spaces, and the whole thing changed to an expression (which is how ?: is supposed to be used) it's a lot easier to read.
b = (a != 1) ? !b : 0
The advantage of the ternary operator is that you only need the LHS part once, which helps if it's a more complex variable.

But that's not much fun. I move it around speculating on what is going to rise fastest.
You can do that on the exchange.

the default theme is bland and flavorless
Bland and flavorless is just the way we like it. Now get off my lawn.

Informative ? Basically everything said in this post is wrong.
I can't be the only person who doesn't read newspapers.
Let's make a new rule. If you're left handed, your starting position has the king and queen on swapped squares
Even better: let's swap all their pieces left to right !
Or run the dishwasher at night, empty it in the morning, and then load dishes during the day as you use them,
And #2 will be a "sex robot washing robot"
If you think that nothing is going to change by killing net neutrality, then there's no reason to kill it.
What they need to invent is a self-buying robot that can wait in line for you at the Apple store whenever a new product comes out.

They could do it with an honest title and article.

or exhale....

Maybe, but it is an example of a mechanism that would allow a GMO plant to harm you, even if it hasn't been a problem so far.
