I've myself been looking at antivirus solutions for our dormatory 400-500 userbase. We found out that it would be quite expensive (Sophos, HBedv and others), until we saw RAVantivirus. 300$ a year first year and then 80% off the next years to come (60$ a year). This is for a single mailserver with up to 5000 mailboxes, and it works perfectly, installs in 10 minuttes and has easy configuration. Look at www.ravantivirus.com
By clicking 'I agree', you agree to agree to all future EULA's
Actually in my dorm people who wants to access the net has to sign something similar. The user agreement is always on the net and on a buklletin board in the hall, and if we (the internet/server guys/administrators) decide to change it we will inform vigorously.
well if it is there is something wrong. Ekstra Bladet is a tabloid news paper and is very fast putting up headlines on their webpage about tomorrows stories.
Either this story would be on the front page, thus telling people to buy the paper tomorrow, or it would be an article on the webpart of the paper.
Neither is the fact. There is nothing about Echelon II on Ekstra Bladet. Is this year old news or what?
Well we need not go all the way back to the Spanish Inquisition or over the Pacific to China, just think of the imprisonment of the Japanese-Americans during WW2.
There is no need for another currency. Even though this would be a gold based one the company still have to go through some country to really work.
They would still have to compete with Visa and the other creditcard that are standar these days. No if they instead focused on microtransfers from a couple of cents they would have a product.
Also, why go through triple money transactions? Bying a book from the UK, as I do from Denmark:
Now Dkk -> UK£, with visa
GM: Dkk -> Goldmoney -> UK£, that seems ridiculous.
Also, the prices would have to be higher to accomodate the fluctuations in goldprices, or the prices would change from day to day, and also depend on eventual gold laws and taxes the nations have. They could avoid this by residing in one country, but then.....
No, it'll never work, they're just on to making a product they hope somebody will buy.
Well you're worng on the censorship. We have less censorship in Europe, but way better tv. The reason - more money. 1) There are national channels that are paid by taxes, so they don't have to attract viewers with cheap programs like Jerry Springer. 2) There are less programs, that means they can sell the advertisingtime for more, bringing in more money with less commercial breaks.
Well maybe the Europeans better culture also enhances the quality:-)
well, all you need is a server with the mp3's so you can stream it to multiple computers/stereos.
My current setup is a server with mp3's and a http interface that pops up in winamps minibrowser on my main computer.
This will also allow your computer to have a very small harddrive that is almost not used at all, thus reducing heat and EM noise.

Yeah I've noticed that too. When I buy books over the internet from an UK retailer the UK book is always way cheaper than the US book, quite nice.
