    That won't be happening. A no fly zone has been declared over that area. It is garded with SAM sites.

    Well for starters, fresh water, lots of hydro electricity, oil, natural gas, real beer, and a relitively clean atmosphere minus the polution that comes north of the border.

    This is news? Get your heads out of your asses. Of course there is no privacy on the internet. There are plenty of legal ways spy on someone on the internet (note: being able to use it as evidence in court is an entirely different matter). Anyone with a router, pop3 server, or irc server can do it.

    It is quit prudent to take appropriate security measures. Anything less would be foolish. This not to say that we should be full of fear. In fact, quit the opposite, we should be fearless. Terrorists love to see fear, which we should not harbour. SECURITY != FEAR.

    As far as the government spying on it's citizens: What does it matter? Any idiot can can read other people's email/irc sessions over the internet. You people act like the internet is some sort of secure medium. Everyone here knows it is not.

    Eventually the signeal would need to be decrypted, even if it were encoded all the way to the speakers. In side the speakers it would half to be decoded before reaching the cones, there would be a good spot to grab it. Just make a patch cord from the wires leading to the cones to whatever input device you want to use.

    Spare the flaming, but the article makes quit a few good points. As much as Linux is a decent OS for coders, it will never become mainstream (as it is right now). The averge Joe could never understand it. Most users have trouble understanding Windoze as it is. What the public needs is an OS with a good GUI (i shutter) combined with a stable, functional OS.

    Clock speeds don't tell you very much about a chips performance. There are so many other variables to take into consideration. Too many people think that the clock speed tells all. Mabey it's a good thing that are hiding the clock speed from the consumer.

    The owners of routers should be blocking the IP addresses of any unpatched IIS servers. It is their responsibility to make sure their equiptment does not comprimise the Internet.

    I noticed this afternoon, I could not make any calls on my cell phone. I called customer support serveral times. They were busy. I guessed they were having problems with their network. My friend, who is on a defferent network (I am on Rogers AT&T Canada, he is on Fido Canada), also could not make any calls. Could it be that this worm brought down some cell phone networks?
