Come on people... playing video games is not an addiction unless you're totally obsessed with them. Yes, there are some cases where the person is addicted and needs help, but on the whole, who cares if the kid plays games on the weekends?

Now, I don't know why it got put on slashdot, but it's a valid question, and out of the 120+ messages, maybe 30 are on subject! Lets have some help for the kid, not criticism for why he shouldn't be playing!

Come on, here you are bitching about how bad the acting is when there's only been ONE show! Enterpise has a whole lot more potential than Voyager ever did. Just so long as they keep from really screwing up, they'll be fine. The captian (who could use a lot more in the way of acting abilities) did pull a couple of Kirk moves which hasn't been done by a captian in a while!

It's not as if there have been bad starting episodes on other sci-fi's. They have a lot of development to do, but look at how much they did in the very first episode. Unfortunatly, they tried to develop an empathetic attitude for the vulcan too early.

But everything else aside, give the thing a chance! DS9 didn't get good until the last season, and Voyager never got good. Just watch this but don't compare it to TNG, it's a totally new series, watch it as you would any new show.

That's enough of me on my little soap box there. Peace, Out!

This looks GREAT! I looked around on it a little and got some good results. The links are more unreliable than Google's, but it brings back more topics. Unfortunately they still drop the "common words" even out of phases, and doesn't do too well with them included. Still this looks like a good alterative to Google, though why you would use another search engine than Google, I don't know.

What about the N64?!? I love FF, and am looking forward to seeing FF10, but I don't have a PS2 yet, and I'm getting sick of borrowing the game and system from friends. Why can't they just say that enough is enough, kiss and make up. Not literally though.

Why can't people just select all and hit delete? If you have an e-mail account, spam is usually part of the deal. Plus, spam filters are not reliable. They let spam through and hold stuff that is supposed to go through. If there was a reliable spam filter, I'd be all for it, but since there isn't, use the delete key!
