this is a very interesting topic. I just just started my new job where i was coming from an internship previously. There we had a web server, database server, a devbox and a log processing box for webtrends analysis. But now at my new job im being introduced to high level PIX boxes, F5 load balancers, redudant web servers, transaction servers, etc. One thing i just learned the other day is that they use the F5 to handle SSL encryption/decryption instead of relying on the webservers. I never knew that was possible. But eventually i want be able to do all that my boss does right now. Anything less is less than perfection...MUAHAHA.
Ive been wondering what i should be doing since i got to my school 2 years ago. And now 2 years later, ive swtiched majors 2x and still have no idea what i want to do after college.
Yes, I want to do something that i love, but my question is, do i have enough experience to do what i love in real life?
Build a high speed network for the country OR feed the the millions of starving people that exist in india? I guess some people feel downloading pr0n at 10mbit is better than giving a kid some rice.
Will a 2666mhz beat out a XP2000+? Of course!!! Its about 1ghz faster. It doesnt take a monkey to figure out that its gonna win. How about you stick it up your ass until AMD comes out with something at equilivant speed.
