I am a member of the Pirate Ninja party, I am not a Democrat or Republican. I am not paid to post here and I have been posting here for many years now.
You are the one using smear tactics, I am a third party who has been victimized. Now being victimized by you.
You are right, science is not supposed to be a form of belief. Yet atheists see it as a form of belief for their personal views and opinions. That is not what science is to be used for anyway. Many religions do that, and yes atheism is a religion as well because strong atheists have faith that god does not exist. Now if they just doubted that god existed, they would be agnostics, which isn't actually a religion, more of a doubt. No, rather, atheists believe that god does not exist, and atheists have created their own scientific theories to explain their beliefs that god does not exist, and to attack other religions with, like you have done here.
All I say is that it is not true science, and there may be no true science left in this world. Save maybe some physics theories on dark matter, dark energy, and Hawking's work on black holes.
Nope strong atheists have faith that god does not exist, weak atheists think that god does not exist because they haven't seen any proof or evidence.
Yet there is no proof that atheism is true and the only correct religion. Most atheists take it on faith that god does not exist and that some scientific theories are true, despite not being totally proven yet.
What I described is misusing science to explain someone's faith, which is pseudoscience and not true science. In fact, you wouldn't know true science if it bit you on the ass. There is no true science anymore, only scientists with an agenda to push their own personal beliefs on others.
are calls about Republicans that pause and then smear the Republican. RoboDemocrats or whatever are doing the same thing the Republicans are accused of doing. The Caller ID is spoofed to 000-000-0000 and other numbers, so I cannot tell what number was used to call.
The Do Not Call List in Missouri claims that polls and campaign calls are not covered under the Do Not Call list. So they are legal in Missouri.
I signed up for a Democratic web site like The Daily Kos, and I get a ton of junk mail from them on Pro-Democratic issues and now phone calls that pretend to be Republican candidates, and then pause and start to trash the Republican candidate like saying he/she wants to take away our freedoms and liberties like George W. Bush does.
and I'll tell you why. You see global warming is one of the atheist apocalypses like peak oil. Atheism uses science to explain their faith, and atheists dominate science sources on the Internet and will debunk anything that proves their theories are wrong. You will get the pseudoscience label for one, and for another you will be called an idiot, etc. The works of people like Richard Dawkins are part of the atheist bible, and Dawkins is the Jerry Falwell of atheism anyway. Al Gore is one of the new atheism prophets and debunking him is blasphemy now.
As a Psionic being, I can tell you that simpler minds are easier to read than more complex ones. Mac users have simple minds and need a simple OS to work with.
The Internet is not safe if you use Windows and IE 6/7. Please Do NOT click any links until these issues are fixed. If you do, you might get pwn3d by 12 year-old script-kiddies or unemployed computer geeks turned hackers that still live with their mothers in the basement and are upset at the world.
Switchback was not really noticed that much either. It only could infect 7 to 8 million OSX based Macs. Still it shows that AppleScript and Safari are weak links in the OSX armor that can be exploited by someone if they try really hard enough to make it work with newer versions of OSX.
Mac Users are like the old Amiga users, thinking that their platform is so secure that no virus is written for it, so there is no need for antivirus programs. The Amiga users figured this, because MS-DOS was targeted by virus after virus (they infected floppy disk boot sectors back then), and that AmigaDOS would not be targeted by virus writers. That was 1986-1989, and in the 1990's viruses were written for AmigaDOS and Amiga users got infected and didn't know it because they refused to run antivirus programs. Then it was on demo disks that people always spread around to show off what the Amiga could do, the viruses infected those disks and Amiga after Amiga.
Hackers should target Mac users, because chances are a Mac user has more money than a Windows user, and the Mac user is less likely to run an antivirus program. Just read this article with all of the comments from Mac users saying how a real virus won't infect their system.
No but I can preorder a DVD from a rental place just as easily as you can preorder an iMovie from Apple, and the day the DVD is released I can go to the rental store and rent it, watch it for $3. A few weeks later, buy it for $7, or choose not to buy it and save $7. Unlike you I am not a millionaire that wastes money buying movies when I can rent them cheaper and choose to buy them later. How many iMovies that you bought you actually keep watching? If a movie isn't any good, I'd be wasting $13 to preorder it, download it, and then be disappointed that it sucked. With renting DVDs, I save $10 a movie if it sucks over iTMS preordering. The iTMS iMovie store is for suckers with a lot of money, and I don't fit into both of those categories like you apparently do. Renting DVDs is cheaper for me than iTMS iMovies, and I don't mind waiting a few weeks for a used DVD if I happen to like the movie that much. Heck, I waited long enough for the movie to come out on DVD, what is a few more weeks for a used DVD?
Apparently they could not get OS/2 to work on the modern hardware and opted for Windows CE. Though it was nice to rant about OS/2 for a bit.
I heard the flaw, after researching it a bit on Wikipedia is due to Access databases and other things.
Can someone create a Linux based voting machine with a MySQL database and see if it is more secure? Are Diebold voting machines insecure due to Microsoft technology or due to bad design?
For $10 or $7 I can buy a used DVD from a video rental store. By the time Apple posts a movie for $10 to $15 a movie, the DVD has already been rented out enough to be sold used. If Apple sold movies for $5 to $7 a movie I might just buy some if the resolution was decent. Currently the iPod video resolution is too small, and even the PSP plays movies better than the iPod. Some used PSP movies are like $10 each on Half.com and Ebay.
Plus Apple has to compete with NetFlix, Blockbuster, and other companies that rent DVDs via postal mail. $19.99 a month for unlimited rentals, three at a time, is hard to beat. Notice that there are no CD rental places, but there are Video rental places. That is the real reason why Apple is failing at movie sales, the movie companies already make tons of money off of rentals and don't see the benefit of giving Apple the rights to sell movies over the Internet. Not unless Apple can convince them that it would be more profitable to sell movies over the Internet than rent them, or sell them from Wal-Mart and other retailers.
Apparently even following the directions can lead to a possible risk of turning the iPaq into a brick.
Besides I found out the battery is dead and won't hold a charge with the recharge, and it only works in the cradle yet needs a full battery charge to synch up with Windows to even attempt a Linux install. I am on disability and cannot afford a new battery yet.
with good technology. That is if you don't mind 12 year-old hackers deciding who gets elected in your elections, instead of the people. I guess it is just a matter of what political party will bribe the 12 year-old hackers the most to rig the election in their favor. Imagine the Green or Reform party wins with 51% of the votes in every state. Imagine in 2008 that the Communist Party gets their candidate elected as President. Heck, I can do even better, imagine that Hackers form their own political party and win every seat in the House, Congress and Senate in 2006, and the Whitehouse in 2008. Imagine Kevin Mitnick and Gary Morris Jr. as President and Vice-President of the USA from the Hacker party.
P.S. Doesn't Diebold use OS/2 in their voting machines like their do their ATMs? You know, the OS that hasn't been patched since IBM gave up on it way back in the 1990's and finally stopped supporting it in the early 21st century, except for the OEM copy called eCom Station or whatever. OS/2 the OS that Microsoft helped develop with IBM, and then eventually dumped for Windows and basically stole from IBM to make Windows NT, Windows 95, with major modifications. OS/2, the OS that AmigaDOS users joke about being Half an OS because IBM never finished it and the slash is a division symbol anyway. OS/2 which never got modern things like USB support, and modern hard drives over 120Gig have problems with it. Few things are more pathetic than OS/2, like GEOS, GEM, QNX, 386-MOS, Desqview, and CP/M-X86. OS/2, the operating system that time forgot. Yeah, that OS/2, that IBM abandoned for Linux over. OS/2 the only OS that shoot itself into the foot with the WIN-OS2 subsystem that ran 16 bit Windows programs so that developers no longer needed to make native OS/2 versions anymore as the 16 bit Windows versions ran on OS/2 just as well as the real Windows. Then after just about everyone gave up on making native OS/2 versions, Microsoft pulled a switch with 32 bit Windows programs that didn't run under WIN-OS2, and locked IBM and other OEMs out of using 32 bit Windows code in competing operating systems anymore. OS/2 the cursed operating system that took its users down with it. OS/2, even using Star Trek marketing like calling version 3.0 Warp, and using actors from Star Trek to advertise it, still couldn't give copies of OS/2 Warp away for free to most of the world, including Star Trek geeks. OS/2 the operating system uploaded to the Borg flagship and caused it to crash because there was no drivers available for supporting the Borg hardware, causing the defeat of the Borg fleet and saving the Earth. Yeah that OS/2 at the heart of the Diebold voting machines.
Oh by the way, I did research Linux for the iPaq once and there was a risk of turning it into a brick, so I opted not to go that route. Has that changed and there is no longer a risk of turning the iPaq into a brick?
The iPaq with a SD card was playing MP3s before the iPod was invented. There was even a Compact Flash HD card with 1G or 2G of a small hard drive from IBM for the iPaq before the original iPod. Windows CE was playing MP3s before the iPod was even invented. I had forgotten about that because I would get upset that the iPaq battery would run out and lose all of its memory so I quit using it for a long time. Now that I read about Windows CE 6.0 Kernel being opened source, I dusted off the iPaq box, inserted a SD memory card with MP3s, and started to charge it up.
What I want in an alternative OS is the ability to work as a PDA, have a longer battery life, and use SD and Compact Flash devices and work as a MP3 player. I highly doubt that Windows CE 6.0 will be ported to my device, but I think it has Pocket Windows 2003 or Windows CE 3.0 or whatever Windows Powered, it was called.
I need synch software that can synch up with Thunderbird's calendar extension, or the Mozilla Sunbird Calendar. Don't make me open up a can of Programming Whoopass and force me to write my own calendar synch software and come out of disability retirement and start programming again. I just downloaded Visual BASIC 2005 Express Edition and will update my Visual BASIC 6.0 skillz if needed.
Windows CE 6.0 has an open source kernel, but there is a catch, Catch-22, which means when you agree to the CE 6.0 Kernel license, you are giving up a lot of your rights to Microsoft plus fees to even look at the CE 6.0 Kernel.
On the other hand, the ReactOS Kernel and entire OS is open source, and I'd much rather see people try to convert ReactOS 0.30 to Windows CE devices and develop drivers for it. No Catch-22 there, but it is free as in speech not as in beer, still it is free to download and look and work with it (not counting the bandwidth costs to download the source code).
I got an old Windows CE 2.0/3.0 iPaq h2215 that would love to get an OS upgrade, it is one of the many Windows CE devices that Gates forgot. It can still be useful. I think there might even be a Linux for it or something if I look hard enough for one. I'd much rather have ReactOS for it, if possible, so it can a Windows like OS and still look like a Windows based PDA rather than a Linux PDA. I am sure they can compile F/OSS Windows programs over to the ReactOS PPC, ARM, MIPS, etc formats and make them work with lower screen resolutions. If anyone knows any alternative OSes for the iPaq h2215 please write me an email or reply to this post.
I doubt Microsoft will allow a Windows CE 6.0 upgrade for it.
ReactOS is as close to a F/OSS version of Windows that we are ever going to get so far, and I think it needs more support. It shares code with the WINE project, so helping ReactOS will help Linux users who want a better WINE program.
It is over You've been stalking me for a long time. The DNA tests proved that I am not the father. You did sleep around with a lot of men anyway, which is why I had to end the relationship. Please stop following me around the Internet, calling my phone numbers, and sending me email. The TRO says that you have to stop trying to contact me.
I posted how to do it using a F/OSS program called Audacity. To quote D-Generation X, if the RIAA ain't down with that, we got two words for them, "suck it!"
and the Christian Fundamentalists have had lists of names of women that died trying to give their egg cells for stem cell research and therapy. Men and women treated with fetus stem cells do get tumors and cancers, because it is not a perfect process. This is just like cloning, when they cloned Dolly and got a clone that died of old age because they could not reset the biological clock in the genes from the donor sheep used to create the clone.
Nanotechnology may be the way to go, along with bionics and nanosurgery to correct spinal cord injuries and other serious medical conditions.
Right now, as far as stem cell treatments go, they are basically a crap shoot, and even if they do work, you could get tumors or cancer from it later on.
The Chinese are more along in cloning and stem cell research than the rest of the world, maybe we need to team up with them and compare notes?
I mean do they have software that can detect a real name from a fake one? Most of the web sites and blogs I have registered with have no idea that Orion Blastar is not my real name. I even get postal mail addressed to Orion Blastar from my web registations (I used my real postal address with my pen-name) and even the junk mail and credit card companies think that Orion Blastar is for real, despite not having a SSN tied to the name at any of the credit reporting companies. With the USA having more advanced technology than China, how can China enforce that sort of thing?
How long before the USA and other nations adopt the same policy of blogging with real names. Oh the horrors and 1984 references. Better register all the nicknames and pen-names we will use for our lifetime now, before they start checking so they can all be grandfathered in before those laws get passed.
