The item would be travelling backwards, towards an object in motion forwards.
You throw an object at 5-10 MPH, it travels backwards towards an object travelling 30-40 MPH in the opposite direction. Even with the air drag your still gonna get it there without a problem.
Man, I can just picture a bunch of black helicopters hovering only 20-30 feet above the highway, with sniffers attached to the bottom... probing traffic networks for file transfers that had the name "metallica" in it;)
Now that'd be interesting... and I'm sure totally doable. Hook up a wireless network card, and firewall the system of course. You wouldn't want to be hacked as your driving;)
Actually I believe BMW is either doing or in the works of doing something like what you said. Although, I believe it would be able to be done with a barebones small formfactor system in the trunk running Linux of course, with a Wifi card attached.
It's better than rolling over on your back and letting any tyrannical dictator rape your wife while forcing you to watch, shortly before spilling you intestines onto the floor while your wife watches.
We had a waffle BBS here, I forget what it was called, but it was a dialin connection to clarknet back at that time. The software was custom coded by the sysop which was in baltimore. Very cool... I think that the usenet connection and the massive amount of information available through the internet is really what caused the mass migration. Then, the web came....
I'll have to agree with you, I really miss it. I used to run a BBS in maryland called Starpost Sentinel (later named Apocalypse)... short lived but very fun. Most of my time was being a user. I met more interesting people that way, and learned so much more within a timeframe of 4 years than I could have in 20, honestly. Not to mention programming WWIV:P
America: A pack of wolves with several packs of wild jackels doing their bidding, while running a breeding camp for the jackals and consecutively breeding the sheep to be more complacent and meaty.
The RIAA is a lobbying group, not a music company. If the RIAA actually coordinated things like terms for music sales they would probably be violating antitrust laws.
are you trying to insinuate that the companies that make up the RIAA don't coordinate between themselves such things as terms for music sales?
That's called unity.. it's the basic part of an association.
Personally, I find it a bit refreshing that the representatives elected by the people are defining this instead of a few robed justices on a bench acting like dictators. We have too many judges making law already from the bench. The Arizona state supreme court has even had the temerity to rule on multiple occasions that amendments the state constitution violated the state constitution.
The reason the arizona state supreme court did such a thing is to avoid any issues with Gun Rights, and other trendy issues currently in the tumbler as of the past few years.
Arizona is one of the few states that have the kahunas to actually stand up to keeping the current rights.
I've always thought that listening to Lords of Acid or Marilyn Manson (antichrist superstar and earlier) would be an excellent addition to a treadmill.
can I ask a stupid question?
What's a DPDT and SPST relay?

And has died off as of May of this year, this century.
My car's a 91... I have a hard enough time just trying to find out CODES much less interfacing it with a computer.
So what was the point of your story, that you're an asshole, or that you just didn't get the shit kicked out of you that one time?
Yep.. especially where I live, where it can reach 115 without even being in a car.
Phoenix, AZ.
Now that'd be interesting... ;)

DIN form factor... proper stereo installation in most cars.

He said thriving, he didn't say adhering to the human rights creed of the UN :)
Thriving is in relation to economic stability, and todays definition of a "superpower". I'd definately say China is both of this.

Funny, I always thought that liberal was just the opposite of conservative...
Yep... in case of nuclear war, the united states military could share physics papers.
Create a VPN from hell :P
No need to lay new fiber or anything, just encryption.

I was thinking the exact same thing LOL

:)
that pretty much sums it up

(and the later will not happen because you need a 3/4 vote by the people (not reps/companies)).
Did the prohibition ammendment get 3/4 of the peoples vote? Just curious, I'm not trying to be a smartass or anything.

Is bowling a sport?

They didn't have 37337 hAx0rZ back in the 60's, that's probably why.
China.
