The South--er, I mean the Alpha shall rise again!

The last time I read the Guiness Book of World Records (in 1998), the Intel Pentium II processor was the fastest computer processor (and the Alpha was knocked off that title). I guess that Intel held the title for this year as well. Now, I want to see the Alpha come out with that title once again!
In a technical vein, don't forget the scripts. In my course of learning Tribes, I can use a few heads-up display scripts to do stuff (like telling me which team has the flag, etc.).
-Characteristically resorts to name calling, cursing or abusive language.
Sometimes I do, sometimes I don't.
-Habitually makes violent threats when angry.
Nope.
-Has previously brought a weapon to school.
I can put pens to good use in high school.
-Has a background of serious disciplinary problems.
I was suspended in junior high school for a fit of rage after being picked on with racial slurs.
-Has a background of drug, alcohol or other substance abuse or dependency.
Well, I never did that. The popular kids have this problem, but I don't.
-Has few or no close friends.
I don't have friends. I only have co-workers in college (the library computer café).
-Is preoccupied with weapons, explosives or other incendiary devices.
Hmmm...I'm taking fencing soon.
-Displays cruelty to animals.
If my folks rail against me for taking care of my pet fishes (which half of them are dying due to my parents screaming at me for such in the first place) is akin of forcing me to be cruel, then I think it's cruelty.
-Has witnessed or been a victim of neglect or abuse in the home.
Read above.
-Bullies or intimidates peers or younger children.
I thought the bullied are the ones who are killing nowadays.
-Tends to blame others for difficulties and problems they cause.
My lack of a social life: The popular people in high school who scarred me for life.
-Consistently prefers TV shows, reading materials, movies or music expressing violent themes, rituals and abuse.
Let's see... My Ute Lemper CD collection (a CD called City of Strangers has songs like "Death is a Master from Germany," "Losing my Mind" by Stephen Sondheim, and "Der Graben" about WWII), and the latest cast recordings of "Chicago: The Musical" (a musical about a woman who becomes famous for killing a guy she's been having an affair with). Yes, I listen to Rammstein, but the lyrics to their songs has nothing on the songs from the aforementioned CD's.
-Reflects anger, frustration and the dark side of life in school writing projects.
Well, I did write about how Gatsby's death (from "The Great Gatsby") is a reminder of my life in a literature course...
-Is involved with a gang or an antisocial group on the fringe of peer acceptance.
Nope. None of them would fit in with me.
-Is often depressed and has significant mood swings.
Last night: Wow, an actress from the ensemble cast of "Chicago" is taking one of the lead roles, and she was great!!!
Today: Damn it, I hated when my job gets too damn boring in the rain...
-Has threatened or attempted suicide.
Nope. I don't know how can I write up a will yet.
-Has tantrums and uncontrollable angry outbursts.
It's all buried in my mind. Who knows what will happen.
Sounds great, but how much money does it costs to get a bunch of graphics cards that will work with the games? Unfortunately, the computer labs in my college campus are too crappy for this kind of thing. Too many ATI graphics cards give me the heebie-jeebies.
I would love to see that taken care of before a team in my college starts up.
Okay, okay. So I go for "Starsiege: Tribes", but it's still good for the fact that it runs on my 3dfx graphics card.
[dream sequence music:]
"Give me a target!" "Got it!" "Mortar inbound in 5,4,3,2--" "--Bang!" "What's the score?" "Library Café staff: 4 flag captures, Atrium Computer Lab staff, 0." "How much time left?" "I thought you settled for 'no time limit!'" "Excellent... Hey look! A wannabe sniper incoming! Who wants to take care of this?"
I would love to see Starsiege: Tribes 2 for Linux. The original Tribes was made with the 3dfx-only Glide API, so porting that will be a pain in the butt, but Tribes 2 is going to be made using OpenGL for the 3D graphics stuff, and it's going to be released for the Windows and Mac platforms anyways.
I lived on the wrong side of the tracks (James Madison HS that is), and I can't believe for years after high school graduation that
I am alive -- not dead in a school beating/killing/shooting that I would have made, not dead in prison for such a crime, or anything of the sorts.
Still not having the guts to do so (must be the moral thing).
Let's just say that I was "tempered" by the jerks in junior high and HS, and that led to the sad self that is me.
Oh well. All I can do in HS is to work in the library, isolated only for a few hours a day from this Hellmouth crap. I'm doing the same thing in college because I still can't fit in. My mind (and whatever I live with) is just too disparate to fit in with anybody.
Let's just say that I never forgived anybody out there, and I never will.

What platform should Sierra Studios crack their knuckles to make game for?
39% Mac Games
59% Linux Games
0% for console, PC, and DVD games.
C'mon. Linux! (clap, clap) Linux! (clap, clap)
