Update your Konqueror. 2.1 and 2.2 work fine. The older versions don't handle URLs of the form "//foo.com" correctly. (I reported this as a bug, but the Slashcode people are lazy fucks who can't even take five minutes to fix this miniscule problem.) I mean, NO site other than this new incarnation of Slashdot leaves the http: off the beginning of links. For a site that is so quick to whine when Microsoft breaks compatibility with existing standards, they sure don't seem to care the least bit when they do it.
