I'm not sure if you're looking for a solid state, hard drive or CD based player but I thought I'd throw in my 2 cents.
I have a Frontier Labs NexII. It's a solid state player that uses CF cards but can use the IBM microdrive. I love it. Excelent player, cheap ($99 USD) and you just fire it in your usb port and it shows up as a drive. No software, no restrictions, no hassles. Excelent player IMHO.
Our company uses Wusage and it's quite a nice package IMHO.
It doesn't generate very pretty reports by default, but it is highly customizable and provides a truck load of data.
Note: I am not affiliated with the makers of Wusage in any way.
I for one will be very disappointed if Sun does not ship some version of Gnome with Solaris 9.
As a big fan of Solaris I've been looking forward to this release, but come on, CDE is a donkey. It's one of the worst interfaces I've ever used.
Sorry, just had to blow off some steam. My hatred for CDE runs deep:-)
Why don't the distro's add a counter module, so that when you install you get the option of anonymously being counted?
Or, maybe they should release a "counter daemon" that would update the Linux Counter page once a day with a simple "yep, I'm a running linux box" sort of message.
I have tried using an Apple Pro USB keyboard on my windows box and it works perfectly.
I would be using one too if I didn't love my M$ keyboard so much. The apple keyboard is also very sexy.
I loved shopping for houses online.
We still got an agent in the end. But the net allowed us to spend several months looking a different houses, and searching by different critera.
