Ok i see what you mean but

That's quite an interresting thought... when you come to the video shop.. of course you can run out through the door without paying for the casette. Do you do that ?

if i find a movie i havn't already seen in the theatre and i WANT to rent it then sure i do. but
usualy a friend of mine has the video or dvd and i'll just borrow it from him.. or if the video isn't out and i dont' wnat to go to the theatre becuase i don't like the MPAA's actions latly and don't want to support them i'll just go download it. (or at least i WOULD if i had a dsl or cable but i con't get eather out here. so =[ )

I've seen a couple cables(at http://www.devrs.com/gba/) that allow you to upload misc programs (but i still think it would be EASY to stick the kernel (and some custom boot loading code on a cart) there is also a version of upx (http://upx.sourceforge.net/)although experimental it allows you to compress the kernel (from what i've heard 50% useing some opensource goodness) I'm not saying we need to make something as fast as a PS2 that's what PS2's are for. ^_^ I just want to be able to run xmame, zsnes, and python on it. ^_^ O and show it off! of course.

It's good for some things like it's browser integration and cross platform useablility but for it to catch on it'll have to be faster and take up a lot less resources.. (RAM.. Baaaa... Euro.. Yumm.. o sorry.. )
