"I do gamble like a $1 on the occasional lottery..."

Sorry pal, suckers play the lottery, brainy types play poker and play it well. As far as owning casinos, do yourself a little research on Bobby Baldwin, 1978 World Series of Poker champion. He's now on the board of directors of MGM Grand.

Can you imagine a $25,000 freeroll, against a field of only about 500 players, with a shot at 3 million bucks?! Of course I went . . . and suffered two BRUTAL beats to get knocked out about 100 places short of the money...

Is it just me, or is our little Wil just a tad attention starved... 100 places out of the money, means he finished before 99 other players who didn't make the money. That's no accomplishment. 500th place pays the same as busting out on the bubble (one from the money): ZERO! What's so special about finishing 200th???

This doesn't make sense. Why would McNealy rail against Linux, especially considering that a hot seller for them these days is their Opteron based 1 and 2U boxes. Who wants to run Solaris x86? He should keep his mouth shut, if this is true, and just focus on selling servers, regardless of what people run on them.

I welcome new players, anytime. The more the merrier. The game's not difficult to learn, but really, without discipline, skill, and more than a meagre share of guts, you'll never become a winning player. Until you reach that level, I'll be there, ready to take your money. Thanks! ;-)
