I am sure that someone has said this already... but this has go to be illegal. I mean you need a license to pilot an aircraft over U.S. territory why not one for this. Anybody want to explain this to me?
No matter how much I write my senator (Dashle) I never seem to get through to him. It makes you wonder just how much your congress critter actually listens.
With all the power (money) the major corporations have it just seems hopeless. Everyday you hear about another lawsuit against another company that is allegedly violating some obscure copyright law.
Maybe someday the government will learn that they are just turning thier people away in favor of a few thousand dollars and some stupid companies.
Did anybody else notice how much Sen. Hatch talked about his own singing experiences? Maybe that his how the RIAA has bought off these committees, by offering them an album?
Common miss-beleave, you shouldn't warm up any car build in the last 30 years, just drive.
Actually, you let the car to warm up so that the oil has enough time to properly lubricate the inside of the engine so it doesn't start ripping things apart when you take off.
While I like what Nvidia is doing with there Nforce chipset, I really don't like embedded components in the first place. While I can understand the need for a cheap alternative, I would rather go out and spend a few more dollars. Embedded chips just eat away at much needed CPU cycles while a separate video card would just hold its own.
Actually you shouldn't judge an OS just because you don't understand it. I understand that it is your opinion but maybe you should try out another distro or try to get involved with development before you totally rule something out. I have tried WinLinux and I thought it was very slow compared to a stand alone partition. I'm not an MS hater but I don't think you should judge an OS that really hasn't developed a lot of 3D drivers yet.
In Europe people DO use their brain in the right way and in Europe people DO care for their own business, so in the Europe, there are NO terrorist attacks.
actually, I was just at one of their meetings. They do use IIS but they support linux too. That was plastered all over their brochure. They are a nice bunch of guys and they are really only catering to the business world. Not really interested in the general populace.
ummm... actually if you would read up on windows 2000 you would see that it was based on the win9x clones. But then again you wouldn't be concerned with FACTS now would you
