Why not just make a plastic overlay of a keyboard for the screen then make software that maps your taps to corrlate to the keys. I'm sure it would be easy to get up to speed one handed, pretty quick, unfornitally you'd lose part of the screen but thats the price you pay to type while walking.
Like this wasn't a ruse to let Microsoft prepare for these types of questions. Theres a team of PR coonies writing responses to anything the Slashdot community can think as we post.
In PA the drivers are bad enough without cell phones if their going to do this kind of legislation it should be that you can drive with a hands free set. I can't even recall how many times I've had a near miss cause some moron lost control of his vehicle or tried to merge into me while driving and talking with a phone. As for public theaters the last several movies I went to there were at least one couple talking to each other and one ring. If were going to ban phone in theaters we need to make a law aginst talking. Theres nothing more annoying than two elderly people going back in forth "What did he say!" "Whats going on, I'm lost?" "Who is that I haven't seen them in any movies before"
I've encountered the same problem when moving in and out of college with my lcd screen. Their great for deskspace but a bitch when moving cause im always woried about breaking it. And Since I long ago ditched the box to keep them in I usually wrap it in a few tee shirts and put it in the same box as my clothing/bedding for the extra padding.
when the MPAA starts paying me back for those 10 seconds of my life they've stolen every time i see that damn warning then i'll watch it till then. Hack away!
