we must remember that engineering here is only through bio-chemistry, a synthesis of data strucures all related in some natural form. Umm, A good association? the first film was supposed to be an introduction with partial fillin's. we are introduced too each player with ties to their future... You must understand that we DON'T know how each character will develope.... That will be Lucas's job. we already have an impression, being good or bad to each viewer doesn't really matter at this point, but it should be enough motivation to find out how each character will play a part later.
"Lack of surprises" Did you know Maul was going to die? along with Qui Gon? Do you know that there are various new jedi's we have never known before and will play major roles in the next 2 episodes? Can i say Christopher Lee (Darth Tyranus)... Oh and for all you bitter and too mature for Jar Jar Fans, do you know how jar jar will die... I'm sure that is something many are looking forward too.
"Special Effects: George is hooked on 3d. And it truly sucks. The models used in the originals made it the best special effects ever, and blows away anything they can do today on computers."
WHAT!!!!! Are you insane! The reason lucas could not make the films better was because he didn't have the tools for making a more 'realistic' picture... The production using cga is amazing. Why do you think they produced their own software? What kind of visions could you produce using models rather than cga? I would love to see that production!
"Its clear Lucas hasnt thought his plots out, and as such by the time 3 rolls around, the continuity will be completely hosed."
Hasn't thought these plots OUT! He based the last three episodes on plots he's developing stronger than the first three movies... Remember, he had to create the first three episodes before the last three episodes...
"Ep 1 had us on Anakin's side. Somewhere in 2, we HAVE to make a switch to siding with Kenobi. This is awkward, and will lose quite a few."
We HAVE to do that?.. In an interview with Hayden, he states the decisions that anikan goes through is something we all can relate to... He presses the point that some people might actually feel for anakin and is troubled destiny, and will probably take his side! wow
Cynical and pessimmistic? I think that's an understatement... Poeple are too caught up on how they wan't the movie to be filmed, what characters are in it, and most of all the Title... How many words are in the Title? and How does it compare to The original titles.... I think there is more similarity than people want to believe... That, and the fact that people are nostolgic about their childhood and the fact that most people on this site were just born on the original release dates... Same lucas, same storyline, just better production.
too bad some geeks prefer the mental abuse on fellow schoolmates, rather than the physical abuse... So in a way, they still act like meatheads, but you could call them meatballs because they got no balls.
40 mb is not bad when you consider the amount of memory you get for the price of one 32 mb sony or flash media card... its the quantity and value of the player not the size of one little memory stick... oh wait, how many songs can you fit on that 40 mb?
People are missing the point of the ending... The fact is, there really wasn't any ending, just as fairy tales never have an ending...
David's leap is the breaking point for his undying love of his mother, something of which i hope every body understands... It is the relentless pursuit of his happiness and dreams that throws him over the edge, into the darkness only to be saved by his only wish of living...
this is a touching movie that can only be described in Spielbergs fantastic directorial skills... he trully shows the power of love, something of which drives everybody 'over the edge?'

Yep, With a market share as big as Microsofts, its really hard for untalented authors like the parent to make tech decisions about office products, window products, and much data stored as billy offspring.
Oh, you forgot to mention the benefits of the $50 rebate on Office... The countless amount of money that billy still makes, the various legal payoffs (we are paying for this case in our federal "billy" taxes right?) to the wonderful people we call lawyers...
Oh wait does this mean that the money rebate still pays for billy too keep at his innovative technology and ingenius business practices?
Maybe we should just forgive billy, or just offer an apology for making technology and our office life more expendable.... Praise Billy!!!
