The Chinese diet makes a huge difference. Vegetables, rice, and a bit of meat. I lost 20 pounds after arriving purely due to changing the foods I ate. It's rare to see an overweight person, and 300+ pounders are almost unknown.

Anorexia is a disease. Failing to be 40 pounds overweight is not anorexia. I lived in America for 30 years and never once saw a person suffering from anorexia. Obesity is entirely another story. I often saw obese people.
